It is in Japan, apparently. You can dl the rom is you have one of those ds cheat cards.
I've been watching my coworker play. It's incredibly interactive. Aside from the tutorial lasting like, 2-3 weeks, it's a really fast game. As soon as I get that cheat card (idk whatthe exact name) I'm going to dl it. No use buying something I'd prefer to buy the translated version of.
Graphics are sick.

Ive seen videos, it looks just like its on the PS2, but its, like, on the DS, and it scares me.
I was so shocked when I was playing it one DS! It was so much like the PS2 version and I cried and couldnt stop playing it!
I'll wait for the Re: edition in some Final Mix version of a future KH game.

I've played as far the first Riku fight in RE:CoM. It's honestly a lot more fun than the GBA version. I'm looking forward to 358/2 Days' American release, but I think I'm more pysched about Birth By Sleep, though that means I'd have to buy a PSP >_>
Having now watched a bunch of gameplay videos of this game, and while I'm impressed with the visuals, they aren't near PS2 quality. There isn't a single texture in any of the videos I saw, nor was there any shadowing. It was just cleverly rendered 64bit graphics.
And yeah, I'm more interested in Birth By Sleep, and even Coded more so then this. And yet this is the only one with a confirmed North American release date.

It is widely compared to having graphics to rival the PS2. I've also seen it in motion, it's beautiful. The power that Squenix is getting out of the DS is astounding.

For a DS game I think they're really impressive.

Dude I never said the graphics for 358/2 weren't impressive, infact I said the
opposite. All I said was that it doesn't rival the PS2.

I think Ninja Gaiden for DS is pretty, although that game kind of cheats with the isomentric view as well as the backgrounds. I don't know if the character models are as good as 358/2 because of the view.
