I'm not a fan of the MacBook Air. Yeah, sure it's light and thin but I'd much rather have a MacBook Pro, since it just handles everything better, I guess you could say without getting too technical. But the MacBook Air is a Mac, so who could really complain anyways Tongue_out

Anyone who's actually used to not being babied and wants more control, and to not get used to an OS exclusive to overpriced, overhyped fashion accessories?

I'm not cool enough to own one :c

so mchu lol

I'm in my first year of Computer Programming, and we're about to start learning Java. We would've started sooner, but all of us freshmen were getting new laptops. The new computers didn't come in till last Wednesday (and school started over three weeks ago!), so we all had to wait awhile before we could start writing anything.

The Macbook Airs they got us are very nice and about a centimeter thick thin.

I'm doing computer programming and 3D graphics and wood shop all together and I'm in 6th grade

Cool.

I did wood shop for three years, so I tried something different this year. I believe the course you're taking is Design and Technology or something along those lines ... ? Our school doesn't have that anymore, you have to specialize :C
I do that too.

Anyways, I am getting a new computer. No, I didn't destroy my laptop.

My laptop is 2 years old. Not really old, but has some damages. I don't think I should buy any software, like Flash, Photoshop, Minecraft, Sony Vegas, etc. Because of the danger of having it die on me.

I am getting a desktop, with a mouse, because I really need one. REALLY hard to play some games on a laptop(Yes, I can use a plug in mouse with my laptop, but I don't really want to.)

Really, my new computer is going to be my overall designing computer.
Like graphics, music, animation, and some computer programming.

But here's the problem:
I don't know what computer to buy.

Any help?

Oh, and also, I'm going to Comic Con on October 14. Anyone else going?
I'm going to be taking video, too!
Yeah its basicly design and tech but my school calls it gateway to technology[/php]
lol, whenever its cloudy outside, like right now in LA, i automatically think of First of the Year Equinox... and there looks to be a funnel cloud, hopefully it isn't a tornado... clouds like that are rare for california...

Aren't tornadoes called Twisters in Cali? And if one happens, please record it!
I know JB's manager signed Psy but it was only a few days ago. I heard Gangnam Style on the radio. In USA.
I crashed a bike just now, my right hand is unusable.

Yeah, I do.

Wiskers on mouse, check.

Anyways, it turned out that I got these "stress hormones" from my mom when she was pregnant.
That explains why I'm stressed all the time for no reason, I have mood swings a lot, and why I wake up pissed off at nothing.

Tired sigh

Predisposition to stress is more a malfunction of the endocrine system itself than "receiving additional hormones". While it has shown some ties to genetics, it's generally more about the individual's development.

It is treatable with several different medications. If it presents that much of a nuisance to your everyday life, see an Endocrinologist or a Psychiatrist.

However, given your age, it's far more likely to be an effect of you just becoming a teenager.
I find it more as "I have been feeling stressed since 2 grade."

I do know that it got worse as I began a "transformation to a teenage".
But the thing is is that I get ticked off by almost everything. Getting wet, people talking to me, people whispering, etc. I'm in that state of "You don't bother me, I don't bother you."

Stress, plays a big part in my life. I have emotional break outs. I don't like showing emotions.

It seems like stress takes control of me. Wake up stressed, go to sleep stressed.
And I cant relax. I don't know, but I either don't know how to, or its almost impossible.
I can forget about my worries, but I cant stop felling stressed. I'm tense all the time.

And I worry about everything at once. I worry about other people, I worry about me, I worry about my personal image, I worry about my house, I worry about school, I worry about accidentally hurting someone in my sleep, etc.

Btw, I going to see a psychologist soon.

Sounds like relatively typical anxiety disorder presentation, honestly. A psychologist will probably refer you to a Psychiatrist, or your family care practictioner, for prescriptions, as well as provide counselling at regular intervals.
The skin on my right hand just came off, my knee is the same. My right hand and knee are absolutely destroyed, they feel very numb.
Either physical injury was involved somehow, or you're literally dying.
I'm 97% certain physical injury was involved. He crashed his bike, and can't use his right hand, apparently. Goodness knows how long it took to type those two posts.

Aww, you should try writing stories or drawing something or even just scrawling colors that match your emotions to ease the stress. It works for me. It may not work for others. I pray you overcome your stress! Smile

So, you're a living skeleton? Chocked_2 I'd take pictures if I were you. You may have just broken a world record.

Libruhhh
Duck, do you think I can take pictures? And did you ever thnk about blood and flesh? My sister told me about my blood and skid marks on our driveway. If I got high-fved I'd fall to my knees and once my knee touches the ground I'd scream because my knee is pretty bad too. I posted that with my left hand and a right thumb.
I love how the WBO's URL ending is ".org" because that way ,my school's filter lets it through without blocking it Cute

Other forums get blocked for "social networking". And the game sites get blocked for "gaming". Silly filters XD
We have at least five other domain names you could use otherwise.
(Sep. 10, 2012  4:16 PM)Kai-V Wrote: [ -> ]We have at least five other domain names you could use otherwise.

.com and .net are the only ones I could think of. Its because usually .org is categorized as something like a government site or a learning resource. So those completely bypass the filter. As for .com, the blocker almost always finds a reason to block the sites :c

I picked up an application for our school newspaper today. If I do get in, I'll try to get a WBO article in there =P

Anyways, sometimes when I'm alone, I hold pencils and pretend I'm wolverine.

Ah good, so its not only me XD

I'm joining anime club too. I know, biggest nerd gathering ever. But hey! Someone will know about Beyblade, so maybe I could invite them to the site. And besides, I kinda have to join. Since to apply for the school paper, you have to write an article promoting one of the aspects/programs/clubs of the schools.
