lets talk about this in beyblade random thoughts
I just spent most of my day filling out documents and scanning them in for the language school I'll be attending in July. I didn't realize this before, but I will be turning 20 a few months after I arrive so I should be able to take part in a coming-of-age ceremony in Japan next year since I will have a residency card.

Off and on today I've been eating some Japanese candy. It's supposed to taste like strawberry shortcake but it tastes (and smells) more like strawberry Nesquik powder. Regardless, it's pretty good lol.
As much as I hate talking about the issue, there were 3 bomb explosions in Jakarta's central region. A brief shoot-out with the police even occured. It's over now but that was scary (I live in the northern region so no worries.)
7 suspects, 3 shot dead, 4 detained. everyone from Gegana to Kopassus special forces were there. FWIH the whole thing was over in about 20-30 minutes tops.

On a less disturbing note, I have to perform an embarassing dance called The Bomp. Luckily, the rest of upper secondary is included too, and I'm at the back row. So that wasn't so bad.
I heard about that late last night, RDF3. I hate Extremists of any kind so much...

The indonesian government had been on high alert, so I guess its could have been worse.
Yeah, but the authorities got the situation under control now. Central Jakarta is safe to enter, and security across key areas in Indonesia are heightened. It was chaos while it lasted though; police, special forces, (Kopassus and Gegana), Brimob (Indonesian SWAT), and even the millitary (photos show a colonel on the field, and even a two-star general was interviewed on the TV.)

It seems nerves of steel and curiousity are an Indonesian's quirks though. As soon as the scene is cleared to enter, swathes of people come in to take a look. Heck, one satay vendor +-100m from the blast site continued to cook through the tragedy, and customers continued ordering.

And now someone made a video making fun of the extreme paranoia that followed (it's a man throwing an empty rucksack randomly at people, causing said person to panic and run REALLY FAST in the other direction. Heck, one man in the middle of an escalator RAN against the escalator's direction back up, one close to a lake dived inside fully clothed, and so on). While funny in it's own, trying to lighten up the mood of something like this isn't as funny.

At least I got Capoeira and a christmas performance for tommorow, cuz I'm all out of ideas on what to do.
AP World and Math tests tomorrow. First tests since break. Wish me luck.

I Know Right? it's cool and fun. We still do it today at school.Anyways Game of Skates is an awesome game for fingerboards.
Great game today. Wasn't allowed to talk with the players, but I realized huge they were. John Wall looks like a giant to me and than I see Nene and he's like a giant giant lol. Great win even though I was like the only Wiz fan in the building haha. Great experience.
I just realized it's been 20 years since "Toy Story" was released... it's crazy how far CG animation and effects have come since then XD

I mean, one person using modern animation software can crank out 10 minutes of footage with that level of visual quality in a couple of months (though, of course, the Pixar team was heading into unknown territory while an animator today probably has tons of experience with an existing animation suite). Machinima mixed with tools like Source Filmmaker can also make things even easier, at the cost of originality.

Toy Story, one of my favorite movie. I also liked the sequels though. Concerning the Animation, 3D is actually easier to do than 2D, from using modern animation software. so... 2D > 3D. Lion King > Frozen

Drawn animation will always be time-consuming and difficult (but very nice looking if you have the resources and expertise to pull it off).

Well Said. That's why i said it's with effort. However other 3D animations look like carp tbh.
General question, should I be proud that I made a pretty good mod for this game Project M? I mean I added stages, characters, music, created a new character "skin" and looking to release it. This would probably fit for gaming, but do you guys feel I can seek a career in this? There is a development team that's looking for people like myself.

The peanuts movie does. it looks like a stop motion video , sorry if im mistaken.
The Lego Movie was totally in CGI if I'm not mistaken. Everything in this movie looks so realistic, so far one of the best 3D animation I've seen. The stop motion feeling it gave makes it even better.

But, in my opinion, drawn animations looks a lot better than any CGI. It is just visually more attractive to me.
I think the Lego movie is part CGI and part stop motion, nevertheless it blends in together so well!

I like the way the Peanuts movie look, that was stop motion wasn't it? If you want an example of bad CGI in films that's not an independent movie, it'll be: Food Fight!, Kis Vuks: A Fox Tale, Mars Needs Moms.

I guess it's just how i see stop motion movies. I respect your opinion. And i never really heard those movies until now.

If you liked doing it, then absolutely. You know you've got a good career if you're good at it and you enjoy it; as long as it pays decently you're all set.

If that's how you see it, I am perfectly fine with it as well. I just wanted to give my thoughts.
Anyone been to scout camp? I recalled mine like 1 year ago in Gunung Salak. It's nice with the cool air and greenery, but Gunung Salak is an airplane graveyard-lots of airplanes disappeared here, crashed, with most or all lives onboard lost.

At night, thick fog comes down from the peak reducing visibility to near zero. Couple THAT with the above and my tendency to hallucinate, and it's a scary place.

Got fog tips though:
1. Avoid entering areas known for thick fog alone. Inform someone you can trust if you must.
2. If fog is too thick, hold and wait for it to pass. Too thick if visibility drops to near zero or below. 2-4m. Beyond that is thin.
3. If it's thin enough to see through, move at a reduced pace.
Congratulations Howard! Wish all the best for you two Grin
Congrats!
So I guess you are no longer in love with Kai-V ? Unhappy

Haha, jk, congrats dude !
