Yes, it's called the Boathouse in East Hampton, NY. Worst restaurant we've ever been to. Essentially, we paid $30 for a buffet that ran out of food.

Yeah I know, I usually look terrible in pictures since I don't really know how to smile all that good. And when I do smile, I just look stupid. So, I tend to hide in pictures. That, or I will have a bored expression on my face.
So yeah, I surprised mom at her work yesterday. After playing verbal cat and mouse, I convinced her that I wasn't coming.
But the entire time, I was carrying out a plan entrusted to me by my sister to treat mom and her entire floor section in the hospital (who was also in on it) to a cater lunch of empanadas and chinese. lol
The result?
Needless to say, she loved it. It was the best Mothers Day gift she's ever gotten, she said. My part was last minute, but I'm glad I was there to watch her reaction. If only I didn't get a bloody nose in the middle (didn't take a picture of that, though. lol).
Edit:
On another note, if you live in or often go to the NYC Manhatten area, I TOTALLY recommend Empanada Mama's, located on 9th Ave., between 51st and 52nd.
