I did a search and there is suprisingly no DB thread. In case thier is this thread will be dedicated to the end of the Dragon Ball Z Kai anime. While the english dub of GT will be re-airing soon, the end of the Kai dub means the end of the major part of the franchise, and a major part of history. There isnt going to be a new Dragon Ball series for a long time, or possibly eever.

We will never forget this extrodinary franchise. Say your final goodbyes my fellow loyal fans.

---------------------------

I have input 3 of the last codes from the last 3 DBZ kai episodes, and yet everytime I put in the correct code, I am only showed Episode 97. Where are the GT sneak peaks? Where is episode 98, the true last episode?

good riddens dragon ball z was much better than kai and GT re ariing (shivers)this is hell
Kai removes the useless filler from the original Z. Its DBZ over 9000 to the over 9000th power. All action, moderate comedy, no pointless filler. Its only flaw is not including the Buu saga, but if one considers how DBZ ended, the premise of the Buu saga is kind of terrible. The ending to DBZ (kai) is brilliant and well written. Episode 1 of the Buu saga almost defeats that...

I agree, GT isnt a very good representation of the franchise, but atleast its DB

the filler in the show was good build up if it didnt take 3 episode to tranform you wouldnt get the illusion of how powerful they r and secondly i have not seen kai buu saga so i cant make a good judgement about it also kai uses the crappy japenese music the amercan starting was better then the japenese version and kai has blue popo and was aired by four kids its asking for trouble

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT WATCH GT IT IS GOD AWFUL IT IS JUST TERRIBLE IN EVERYWAY
No offense but you are very argumentative over such a trivial topic. This thread was ment for fans to say thier final goodbyes to the franchise, not to hash on it.

So you are teling me you enjoy waiting 10 episodes just for one guy to flex a muscle? That doesnt display strength at all. Kai removes the filler to show mosly action and the strength. The old DBZ had key points undermined by the terrible amounts of filler. Compare the number of episodes in Kai to the number of episodes in DBZ from the start to the end of the cell games...

There is no Kai buu saga. Kai ends after the cell games. And if you are watching kai on 4kids, then you are just being foolish. Buy the uncut dvds, or watch Kai on nicktoons, where the edits and cuts are so bad, they are good (blood looks like dark maroon dirt and or spit...so ya, blood)

That last bit about the songs doesnt make sense. How is an entire show crappy if it uses a japanese song? And then how do you condradict that statement by saying that the same song, but in english, is better?

Please try to write in sentences. Not trying to be a grammer freak here but your posts are hard to read.
Dude, this isn't the first time you've been condescending to others. Back off a bit, njrk. Anyway, I don't care too much for DBZ, but it is indeed a major part of anime history, and as a result will be sorely missed by even the likes of me. Dragon Ball was great, DBZ was watchable, and no matter how bad DBGT was, it still was a Dragon Ball series. As a result, it is part of the lore. It will be missed also.

Also: Why is the opening so bad? So Bleach is bad for using Japanese openings? No, it's bad for other reasons. At least have a coherent argument.
the japenese opeing does not set the mood like the english one does and im talking about the english songs like rock the dragon ect yes im srry for being so negative about it i watched and grew up with dbz not kai and kai in comprasin is just no that good to me but i still stand by my agument that GT IS TERRIBLE AND STUPID
You also dont need to keep stating the same opinion over and over agian.

My opinions:
The original DB was fantastic. If you havent watched it, shame on you. Even if you despise all anime, or even televison, with a passion, you need to watch it.

DBZ was good, but not as good as the original DB because of the terrible and large amounts of filler. At the time, comparing it to the original Dragon Ball was a bit of overkill, but atleast DB transitioned well into DBZ, and it did explain alot of things from DB.

DBZ (Buu Saga) is more intense than the rest of DBZ IMO, due to slightly less crappy filler. However, the premise of the Buu saga literaly destroyes the awesome conclusion to the cell games.

GT is literaly just a fan service spinoff (fan service not in a perverted sense) in order to please hopeless fanatics and to make some extra cash. It isnt terrible, but GT went overboard on some of the concepts and plot developments...simply put, it overkilled the Dragon Ball series.

Every single movie is carp. Watching them is a mistake.

DBZ kai is a thing of true beauty. It is exactly how DBZ was ment to be seen. While Freeza still takes almost 19 episodes to freaking die and blow up planet nake, atleast it isnt the original 20 or 30 something episodes of "Let's put this off a little longer to see irrelevent pointless scenes eh?"

DBZ Kai is the true DBZ. I am very sad to see it go, despite not being a major Dragon Ball Z fan. I watched DB and DBZ as a kid, and it holds a very special place in my memories.
Closing because there are threads for this purpose.
