yup let it begin since the last one didnt turn out so good im makin my own! lets start of with;
REQUIREMENTS
•Good singnal no lag carp cuz if the lag is so bad (which i will test my self if someone is suspected) thats its un playable u will be disquilified
•maturity no crying over in games taunts and no name calling outside the tourney ie dont be a baby
•polite/respect you definetly have to repeect the rules and other players like be a good sport and dont cheat cuz if u do cheat i will destroy u and make sure u never play another tournament again
some rules
0 best two out of three rounds per match stock 3 with 8 mins per match (stock battle time change is under more rules which u have to unlock)
1 respect the rules an players
2 all characters can be used
3 dont whine about anything like if someone has more stages then u ect.
4 there is a limit of there days wating on a match so if u know u cant make it dont join but we can postpone the tourney pending one personal events
5 the first location will be decided by both players picking a level of my list and i will flip a coin for the location (i pick wats on heads and tails) and the loser of each round picks the next stage
6 only these stagez can be used

this tourney will contain 8 brawlers (the first 7 who post there usernames and friend codes) and will start when everyone is ready and brawlers will fight othe brawls randomly ( will draw from my nintendo hat who fight whom in the prelims

Let me give ya a links to help ya out then since it's your first tourney.
First, a link to the Official SSBB tournament ruleset. This can be modified to an extent, depending on personal preference. Somethings that you shouldn't mess with are Stocks, stage list (unless a majority vote to Ban/Add a stage) and selection.

I say MK is banned lol, just for being THE top tier, and a little kid character besides that
And I think we should just have a few stages played on so we have more even matches e.g. battlefield, final destination, yoshi island and that's it or something. But I do like the best out of 3 matches, although I didn't understand the counter levels and stuff.
Counter levels work like this:
First round, random select from the neutrals list
Second round, loser of first picks a stage from the list of allowed stages.
3rd round, loser of round 2 picks from allowed stages, but not one they previously won on.
Oh, my vote is for MK unbanned. He sucks online anyway.

Ok that makes more sense, but I really don't care about MK lol, I just hate how almost all of his specials are attacks that hit u a lot >_> annoying and normally unable to spot-dodge (which is hard enough online with the delay of movements)

When i think about it, I kinda want the Ice Climbers banned, just cause one can attack you while you don't deal damage to it and just stupid things they do lol, for stages, the only ones I really want are: Battlefield, Final Destination, Yoshi's Island and Smashville. Corneria is fine with me too but it has a gimmick, but really, as long as it has no gimmicks and is a pretty straight forward level it's fine with me, I just think that those are the most balanced though.
EDIT: Oh i forgot, just so we know, and to see if there are multiples, who you guys fighting as? or what couple of fighters you using if more than one? I won't post mine right now just in case you think it'll change what other people may choose or if you don't want to know yet

Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (i.e., freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
Stalling is banned.
Stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling, while doing an infinite grab endlessly against a wall is. Any infinite chain grabs must end quickly after 300% has been reached so as to prevent excessive stalling.
