Is this game taking over anyone else's life? Sooooo addicting.
I love Skyrim personally. The gameplay and graphics are nice. The magic is totally an improvement after Oblivion. The only thing that is better about Oblivion is the guards are easier to kill. Also Skyrim broke my Xbox 360 because I took...an...arrow...to....the....knee.
I used to ne addicted to skyrim like you, until i took an arrow to the knee!
Lol those jokes are overused on youtube, i love this game so much, graphics are AWESOME!!!! even without hdmi it is awesome, but i use hdmi cable since i use glasses, but this game is awesome, slaying dragons, killing just whatever u pass is awesome!! the quest are awesome and there is a difficulty i put it on newbie because im noob

But overall, this is an awesome game
If i was to rate it out of ***** i would rate it *****
Why am I not surprised that this thread would immediately get filled with that meme?

I played it at my friend's house, it's a pretty decent game. Thank god I left before I got fully into it, I would've been screwed otherwise hah.
You know I once played Skyrim and was an adventurer like you.
Then I took an arrow to the knee.
I used to be an arrow like you, then I took an adventurer to the knee.

I used to play Call of duty just like you, then i took a Skyrim to the Xbox.
Anyway on topic, this game is completly amazing. It has great graphics and killing dragons is mad addicting. Im the Khajiit race and i train in Archery :45 One Handed: 52 Sneak: 70 and Light armour: 51
I am also a Khajiit. I tend to favor the thief game play style.. I use a Blades Sword with 9 shock damage. I wear The dark brotherhood armor and boots. I use the DB finger wraps instead of the gloves.

I used to tell jokes like you, but then I you all took this one too far.

Well, my friends all have it [the game] and I don't, so I decided on buying it. But when I tried to, Steam blocked me from going to the page, and now Skyrim is out of my grasp.

And, speaking of "the game", anyone notice in the Bethesda Games logo, it says "The Game"?
This game has made me want to forget about the little things in life, like food, water, and sleep. It is that good.
it is an amazing game i personally love sneaking up behind people and killing them with one hit (because i am an assassin in it)

Seriosly I hate that quote when I play Skyrim I take millions of arrows, I get Stabbed, I get burnt, I get Frozen, I get Electrocuted and sometimes all at once.i can't go anywhere without running into Bandits, Vampires or Mages and sometime Vampire Mage Bandits. lol

Anyway what did you guys pick the Empire or the Storm Cloaks?
I am part of the empire, dark brotherhood and the thieves guild
My factions arre Stormcloaks, Thieves Guild, and Companions
Stormcloacks are sorta the why-did-I-join-this group. Storyline was okay but there were not any worthwhile items and the characters bothered me.

Thives Guild is the best. You get cool armor when you join ,and the quests are all fun as heck.

The companions are....Aela is hot.
I'm in the Empire, The Dark Brotherhood, Collage of Winterhold and Theives Guild
Nobody cares about what factions or guilds or whatever you're in, guys.

Unless you elaborate, nobody wants to know. That info is like dust. Nobody cares about dust, get it?
I personally like dark elves the best. My character is level 36 with like 80 something Archery.

I LOVED the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Don't read the spoiler if you haven't done the quest line yet:
Again, don't read the spoiler if you haven't finished or done the quest line yet.
I thought about doing that, and I think I may do that on my next character. Is it a fun quest line??
It's like two quests, but the reward is 3000 gold, so yeah it's fun.
Finished the College of Winterhold questline yesterday. A bit short, but you do go to some cool places...
Still, I liked the Thieves Guild questline better, but I also love sneaking around (Irkngthand was laggy as hell though). Chillrend is awesome too, even if the rest of the gear you get as rewards throughout the questline would've been most useful earlier on.
Max level Chillrend was worth it in the end though.

I'm a bit over 200 hours right now, still haven't been to Falkreath and only briefly visited Morthal and Dawnstar. I keep getting sidetracked...
I'm filthy rich right now...Deathlords keep dropping Ebony weapons which I enchant with both Banish and Paralyse.
I've only bought Breezehome and Proudspire Manor so far, but I'm still only using Breezehome. Haven't really touched Horses either, I like to take my time exploring and I'd probably miss more stuff if I used a Horse. They don't control great either.

Right now, I'm Lv 56 and my Smithing, Sneaking and Enchanting are at 100. Both Archery and Conjuration are close to 100 as well, with Lockpick in the 90s. My One-Handed is still in the early 60s since I still use mostly Archery.
Right now a sneak attack from my Daedric Bow with Fiery Soul Trap (named it Soul Scorcher, sits at 370 dmg after all the boosts from my armor) using Ebony/Daedric arrows one shots almost anything other than higher lv Dragons and Dragon Priests. Draugr Deathlords, Dwarven Centurion Masters etc, all go down with one sneak attack (playing on Expert currently btw). I didn't bother putting an extra enchantment on it since it doesn't really need one with it being so strong and as it is right now, I get over 3200 charges from it, plus some of my gear reduces conjuration costs which I think gives me even more charges.

I've been wearing full Daedric Armor (previously wore Glass armor and Krosis which I had since Lv 20) for a while now, but not without the Steed Stone, that's really the only way I'll wear Heavy Armor (I haven't spent any perks in both Heavy/Light Armor). All the enchants and rating from my armor and weapons are still within what you can achieve without the whole alchemy/enchanting/resto glitch exploits and they're damn good as it is. No need to break the game...

Still using Lydia as my follower in full Glass Armor, looks so good. Don't want her in Heavy Armor, even though she'd benefit more from it...I want all the carrying space possible.

I've been using the "Conjure Dremora Lord" spell and the guy kicks carp. Can't wait to try 2 of them. Dead Thrall sounded awesome as well with the right NPC, but there seem to be a lot of bugs associated with it and it requires more managing, so I'll probably just stick with the Dremora Lord for now until I get to try Orchendor, etc.

As far as the Main Quest, I'm currently at "Elder Knowledge". Got the same bug a lot of people get with Urag at the College not having a speech option about the Elder Scrolls, but since I already had "Discerning the Transmundane" started (I guess the cause of the bug), I'll just head to Alftand and into Blackreach...I've been looking forward to that.
I love Skyrim Grin I played as a Kajiit TWICE, both times like 15 Whiterun guards are after me. I was like Leone_Astonished 3rd time, I be a Wood Elf and I'm amazing. I'm doing the High Hrothgar stuff right now, because shouts are just amazing for me. I suggest to you guys the Companions if you want Lycanthropy in the easiest and best way. Plus, with lycanthropy,, you are stronger, have more health, and WAY faster. I killed a giant with lycanthropy after it hit me! The only down side is that everyone attacks you. I had to kill a guy who helped me out once.

Does Lycanthropy mean you are a werewolf? And is there any end to the Companions quests? I'm at the part where Filkas (I think that's his name) wants to cleanse his soul of being a werewolf.
This is late to be talking about Skyrim. Got it a few weeks ago though and I searched for a thread. So ya.
Does anyone know an easy way to get Iron Ingots for Smithing? I'm trying to get to lvl100 in that and right now I'm just alternating from getting them from Whiterun, Windhelm, and Solitude.

Speaking of the Companions, I married Aela. XD
