Toei is supposedly shopping around Xros Wars. They've already finished a few pilots to send to TV networks.
Digimon will never be dead to me. Season 3 was cool. I just didn't like the fact that digimon actully died and digi-eggs never existed. Wargrowlmon is badass to me. He will always be my favourite season 3 digimon. Season 4 was definitly my favourite. It made the humans the least useless of all. Plus everything seemed for spiritual and serious. Season 3 was just too dark and serious for me. It was funny for like the first half.
well i liked the first two season tamers was alright but gimicky with the card thing season 4 didnt feel like digimon to me but had the best tranformation and data squad was just terrible in my opion
ps i would also like to note how epic angemon-seraphomon warp digievoultion is it my faverite and i really wish seraphomon had more scrren time
So Xros is confirmed to be getting a second year in Japan, and will be named: Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Race Through Time.
Following the finale of Digimon Xros Wars (Episode 54) comes the next chapter in the franchise . . . Digimon Xros Wars! This is basically Xros Wars' 02 and so far seems that Taiki and Yuu will be the only returning human characters. The new characters from right to left are Ren Tobari with Dracmon, Tagiru Akashi with Gamudramon, Airu Suzaki with Opposumon, and Ryouma Saijou with Psychemon.
The series begins October 2nd, Riku Sanjou will stay on as head script writer.Key points for the series -
- It will focus on something known as "the gap between the Digital and Human Worlds"
- Taigiru will be the key to gap and may be someone who comes from neither of the worlds we've already seen
- Ryouma and Isle are the mysterious pair for the series who may or may not be enemies
-Taiki will still be the main character, but the others, especially Taigiru, will get a lot of focus

I agree. The first season was 'OK' but I really like Tamers. It was the best.

I wonder why they stopped Digimon. It was awesome. I guess they ran out of ideas.

I've always thought the original season was beter.As in any anime,ideas begin to fade as the series goes on.

The Digimon Xros Wars era is over. The show ended in March. It has only aired in Japan so far, but word on the street is that an English dub of the series is currently being recorded.
It's a shame PSP is dead in the west because this game looks pretty cool:
Digimon's western fate truly sucks. It's the IP that got me into Japanese spawned things (pokemon, beyblade, etc.)..and damn from reading this doesn't seem to have gotten any better more recently. Hopefully, like Beyblade it makes a comeback...I'd love to catch up on everything that's been missed here in the West through localized games/dubbed anime.
Re: Digitize and the DS games are most assuredly going to stay Japan-only. Xros Wars is supposedly getting dubbed now.

The whole digivolving in there was so cool (armour and dna); the plot was alright too!

I hate Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode so much. What an overpowered retard.

Season 2 had possibly the most tacky end of a season I've ever seen. I've seen a few sillier and to me worse, but I simply mean tacked on. Yes they wrapped up about all the characters and such but Myotismon was dead and I mean eradicated. The fact he came back at all baffled me, let alone stronger and then that world between worlds where they could make anything happen (something silly to do with dreams?) Why didn't MaloMyotismon use that same power and like slaughter everyone?
I really enjoyed season 5 and 3 of digimon. Season 5 had them acting as police and then they had to look for the guy's dad and the leader had one of the dragons with him the whole time watching over the whole operation making sure everything was on the level and not meant to either take over the world or destroy it. My favourite part though is the self made digimon the scientist did with the 3 kids.
I really want Digimon Xros Wars to air in the U.S. even though Toon Disney (Disney XD) lost the rights for Digimon, I hope NickToons gets the rights like what happened with Power Rangers.
Saban Brands has just licensed the entire Digimon franchise from Toei, and will release Xros Wars internationally as "Digimon Fusion".

Just the regular old PSP. If you watch the trailer that becomes pretty obvious as they overlay text on a PSP. I guess those with a Japanese PSN account can play it on their Vitas.

Yes, YES, YES! That is some amazing news. I hope Digimon ends up like Beyblade, returning and being totally awesome. Plus, that's a great name for the new season.

This season was embarrassing enough to the franchise in Japanese, but in english, it is at least 3 times as disappointing.
