well since this is a video game foutm and emulaters are video games i can make it.but yeah this is for disscuseing emulater games and such.

me i use emulaters to ply many games,im about to get some final fanasty games for it,and i use it to play the phoenix wright games(and iv been haveing problems with it,it wont let me save the game if you can tell me whats wrong please XD)

I only use emulators to play fun games that I can't get such as old classic games or games that are extremely hard to get where I live or never came out(such as the digimon series on ds) right now I'm getting a ps1 emulator to play cool games such as crash banditcoot ect. For games that came out that are brand new and/or easily obtain like legeand of zelda occarina of time I wouldn't get.
i use emulators to try out games i am thinking of buying, though with games like golden sun, i got so into playing it i ended up almost finishing it, so no point getting it now. i use virtual boy and something 64, can't remember the name.
I used to have a GBA emulator so that I could hack ROMs of Pokemon, My rival got a Level 0 Magikarp and I got a level 100 Rayquaza. Also played Beyblade G Rev the game. Then I got a DS emulator and Played Mario Kart DS.
well i just started useing my emulater to record vids for my youtube account.i <3 visual boy.
I use emulators quite often. I never beat my emulators though. When I download them, I only download old games from the NES/SNES/N64/SEGA Genesis/GBA/GB/GBC/Etc. But I only use it as a means of testing the games out. If I like it, I consider buying it. If I don't like it, I usually don't.

I play Pokémon hacks on my VBA, but since I have a Macbook now, I need a working patching tool for Ruby Destiny series (I <3 this series). Any suggestions for good Macbook patchers, anyone? I run OS X Snow Leopard, I believe.
Eh I only use mine for FF6 Advance. I'd rather buy a game.
I only use emulators for games that are impossible for me to play.
English Mother 3 anyone? I don't like doing it though; I like pretty boxes and manuals
I'm not the kind of person to get pirated anything, to be honest.
I only use Emulators since I am preserving my current large console hardware collection.

This. I only emulate games that I will never be able to afford due to priorities and a lack of money, or ones that I'll never be able to play.

I use an emulator solely for PS1 games not released in europe (my swap magic only works for PS2 disks) and N64 games I used to own. I'm considering getting an N64 again though since Diddy Kong Racing is just so amazing.
