Seemed to make more sense for this to go in the Marketplace than the general section, but anyway.
Ok, I thought this would be useful for anyone who wants to sell any blades they might have. It's kind of hard to tell how much each blade is actually worth, and how much we should be offering and accepting, so is there any way of telling what the lowest and highest price would be for each blade?
Or perhaps even just a maximum and minimum asking price for just the most useful or rare beyblades?
I don't think this is a great idea. The asking prices of certain Beyblades will always be fluctuating and it would constantly need to be updated.
I think even just a general idea of what to expect on certain useful blades such as Storm Pegasis, Wolborg MS, Death Gargoyle.etc I mean, particularly concerning older parts that were readily available, it'd be good to know an average offer.
Check Yahoo! Japan if you're that concerned.

I guess I assumed that like trading cards and other collectibles, there would be an average price to expect for certain blades.

i've sold one item for $10 and another of the same item for $60
the prices are just all over the place
it's also a little different since trading cards don't spin and scratch each other

There is an average price that some Beyblades go for, like Aries right now, but it depends on what someone is willing to pay for it, not what a set value for it is.
Plastics and HMS have a high price that'll keep on getting higher because they aren't made. Bull isn't priced very high because it's not very useful and a lot of stores still have it in stock. Storm Pegasus is extremely high right now because no one has it, but I bet you that'll drop in a few weeks/months. Right now, Beyblade is supply and demand for ALL generations of Bey.

Seriously this will only force people to stop and think how much is something worth to them. It's far simpler to let the individual do the thinking and make an offer which can be adjusted, than create an arbitrary value which will be outdated in a week.

A week? Generally offers are outdated within a day or two for me. Some people will offer $70, a second person will offer $40 and another person will offer $15 for the same Beyblade in the course of a few days.

I mean selling price. Offer prices are different...unless you actually sell at those amounts in such a short period.
Either way my point was that the current system lets prices regulate themselves.

$70 was fair for what I was selling, but that user was quickly banned anyhow.
