What was your first pokemon game? Mine was pokemon blue.
Although I don't play pokemon anymore, I thought this would be good to bring the good memories back.
Pokemon Ruby.
Ahh the days of the GBA, so good. When I got my first copy, I bought a Gameboy Advance SP to go along with it. It was Red one, but it didn't work. Even if I charged it. We took that back and got a different one, it was a light blue, teal colored I think? I can't remember what Nintendo called the color, btu I still have it, and after all these years of wear and tear it still works, and I've gone through like 3 DS's lolol.
Ruby was great at the time, and I eventually upgraded to Emerald. Emerald was just so much better, I don't know why.
My favorite region is Hoenn though, it wasn't more so ridiculous like Sinnoh and Unova, but it wasn't as simple as Kanto and Johto. So it stands as my favorite one!
always remember playing pokemon yellow on gameboy color. i still have have it.
pokemon Leafgreen. I wasn't around before that lol

I don't know about Unova but how is Sinnoh ridiculous?

My first game was Pokemon Platinum and I FREAKIN LOVED IT.
It was quite fun and I think the story was great Grin
The map of Sinnoh I think is great with that fact it's quite large, and has the 3 lakes which are an important part of the story.

And.... 'According to several Sinnoh myths, this region was the first of all the regions in the Pokémon world to have been created. In a void of nothingness, a single egg came into being, which then hatched into Arceus, the first Pokémon to be in existence.'

Giratina, Dialga and Palkia are AWESOME Legendary Pokemon.

Well, to me they were a big step forwards and backwards. My theory is the usual "it's not the same as older games" but to me R/S/E were a mix of the two, so that's why I picked it.
Pokemon LeafGreen. My mom saw it in the parking lot near the place she worked at and brought it home for me. Smile This was back when I was around 6-ish, I guess. To this day, I'm STILL stuck in the Seafoam Islands without any Escape Ropes, yet I've done pretty much everything in FireRed, hah. Tongue_out

I always loved (and still love) the 3rd gen games. Grin
omfg nostalgia so much.

Yeah this took up so much of my life when I was a kid. When I was 6 i was like 'screw beyblade im pokemoning :3"

Firered was my first. Played this so much with my friend. We would sit there end on end playing this game getting through the game together. My favourite is definitely Kanto. I can like memorise the whole game off by heart still.

I had pokemon Gold for Gameboy colour. Boy does that bring back memories. great game, except i was like 3 years, and i thought magikarp was a super good pokemon.
my first pokemon game was pokemon blue rescue team (unlkess you count pokemon mini a pokemon game) and is the reason why i love chicorita. it was my partner when i first deffeated rayquaza. my first proper pokemon game was platinum, i would play it for hours and sometimes miss events because i would be playing it insted at looking at pokemon aus for event details. i still have it somewhere but i cant find it. my first pokemon was piplup, witch i evolved to empolion and got it to lv 100. i wish i still had it but i put it on heart gold then it got stollen because it fell out of my pocket at school. sad, sad day. i started to reserch theorys on the shinno legendarys, now i can write a small book on the legend. thus this makes shinno my favorite region, then kanto, then unova, johto and finnaly hoenn cause i got a bad copy of saphire so i could never get the full experience of hoenn.

Because people didn't like the evil team in Sinnoh.

My first pokemon game was emerald. It's colours of the box attracted me to this game. And I'm glad I choose it instead of dump lego star wars. I still have the game and a gba sp to this very day. Pokemon Emerald is also my most favorite pokeon game of all. I remember the good times playing it :D I still even play it once in a while.
Edit- Crud! I voted for Unova! But Unova is my second most favorite game though...
Pokemon Leaf Green. Smile I remember when I first got it. After the final stage of gameboys, the Games got ridiculous and terrible. Sinnoh was, by far, the worst region. Unova was okay.
My first pokemon game was pokemon Gold and Red. I got them at the same time. I used to play it on the gameboy advanced all the time. I first got them when I was 5 I think? I still have those games but gold doesn't save. My most recent game I have is Pokemon Soul Silver. On their I have 2 LVL.100 pokemon. Entei and Sceptile. My first pokemon was Charmander but the first I caught was a pidgey. I have him now as a Pidgeot and he's LVL.60 something. I love my DS and Gameboy and I haven't played gameboy in a long time.

Well, my favorite game was emerald but my first was blue as I said. It is funny Rai how I had a similar situation about how I got my gameboy advanced sp. I went to the store and got a blue gbasp, ruby and saphire. To the second quote. It is what you liked. That was the first region that you got, so that's your favorite. Hoen was my first true region so I liked that the most. I hated sinnoh because something after your favorite is a let down most of the time. Johto and kanto seemed too primitive to me. Unova is okay sort of. Back to the first quote. Again, same as me about my ds's. I went through four of them. (although one of them I gave to my older brother because I was getting a dsi) so three of them. My newest one is a black 3ds. Hope it works out for me.
There are already way too many Pokémon topics. Surely one of them could be used for this discussion, or you could just post in the thread for the game which was your first Pokémon game.
