Funny how you made this topic right after I made a news update about it on Otaku Space. XD

Apparently one of the characters in the dub, is being voice by Veronica Taylor, who voices Ash in the original Pokémon! XD
.
I love this series, so inspiring. Too bad it's coming to an end, atlease we still have the anime, speeking of the anime any one getting the Blue Ray for season 1 on Friday?
Looks like I'm not the only one getting the Blue Ray. But ya, the manga closing is a little sad being as how long it lasted. is the anime still running it seamed to be ended with the end of season 2.

Edit: season 3 was annoced to be released xD
im only on episode 23 of anime strange my life is like bakuman im 11 and somehow a girl got me to promise to marry her wierd true story
I guess I could say my life is also like something in bakuman, I've been trying to find someone to finish some of my good story bords I've made, right when I was about to give up I read the first vol. XD
Well it is a vary realistic manga so it's not strange to have simmilarities to the life of people, even some of the more stanges moments.
I've read different parts of this manga. Pretty good
I own the firs 3 books. Wish I had money for volume 4... Uncertain

I'm actually working with an artist to make a web-comic, so I guess you could compare me to Shujin. Tongue_out
DID ANYONE READ MY POST? come on im 11 a girl made me promise to marry her she has like 5 witnesses to confirm i actually said YES.
Maybe no one cared cuz you will never follow through with it
how do you know.we are going to same middle school highschool and colledge so it is possible.
one other reason my life is a little bit like bakuman is im going to be a manga artist by the name of BLACK CROW dont deny this either people i will make it FOR SURE IF I DONT THIS WILL HAPPEN Supaburn I'LL BURST INTO FLAMES.....somehow.................................
You read Bakuman, so you should understand how hard it is to make it in the manga business. Also, you don't live in Japan, so you're definitely out of the race before you even started. Sorry to kill your dream.

There are some OEL manga do sell fairly well, look at how good Tokyo pop manga did for a long time, untill the down fall. Also, atlease where I live, manga has been slowly getting more popular. But the real trick to getting an OEL would to base on a popular series, just look at how good the Warriors manga.

On another note, what did you guys think of the speed up, a new Bakuman monthly! But more importantly, WHERE IS MY BAKUMAN SEASON 2 DVD AT VIZ!!!
The Warriors GNs aren't manga. They're graphic novels, drawn with an art style primarily associated with manga. Manga is drawn and released originally in Japan.

Also, Bey-Heart posted a link to an ANN article on Otaku Space about how Media Blasters has postponed the DVD releases.
I WILL MAKE IT you didnt kill my dream i actually planned on moving to japan before i get into the actual serialization awards and that stuff so again I WILL MAKE IT
Well if you plan to have a job like that, good luck. But it's much more complicated then you think. A lot of authors get forgotten about after their hit series ends, and most authors aren't even known of. Notice nobody is going around talking about the series Tottemo Luckyman? It's because it wasn't very popular. Only reason people know about the author is because it's suspected that he is the author of Death Note and Bakuman, working a pen name.

If you still want to be a mangaka that badly, I suggest you enter some contests. There's one currently running that wants foreigners to enter. This was mostly directed towards Americans. Winner gets $36,000 USD, it's worth a shot.

OEL, stands for Original English Manga, and plus it says manga at the top of the cover so your bolth right and wrong.
Also its good to know that atlease the DVD is still being planed.
So it's a contradiction. The definition of manga is printed comic material made in Japan. Besides, American comics that call themselves manga majorly suck, like I Kill Giants.

It's planned, but you'll never get it. Unless sales go up, the DVD won't be getting released.
DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN ENTER THE CONTEST AT im only 11 so 36,000 is like infinite manga books about backgrounds perspective faces anything anyone can imagine please reply as soon as possible
It's being run by the Hero's magazine in Japan. It's a manga magazine that's only sold in Japan at 7-Eleven stores, and all of the stories are hero based, no matter what genre they are. It an be mystery, but it will still have a hero (Which can actually be pretty unique for some genres.) The grand prize get's roughly $36,000 (3 million Yen), but that means you have to be the very best. It means your comic must be the best out of all comics submitted within the next year. I don't mean to crush your dreams, I think you should go for it if you're that determined, but you're aiming a little high. Me and my artist are entering, but we're not over confident like you are. We would just be happy to get published. Here's the link if you still want it. Good luck!

i can't beleive my mom and dad I'M NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER ah well i'll get into another one sometime . BEY HEART MAKE IT TO THE TOP 10 AT LEAST FOR ME GOOD LUCK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
They probably just see it as pointless. Besides, they would have to pay for it to be mailed to Japan. Sorry though
yeah they told me manga isn't a good career choice they thought if i made it any where good in the contest they figured i woulod really go with manga as a career choice. either way im still going to be a manga artist parents approval or not
