there are two which are common on the site, i know it is hard for mods to enforce the rules on this big message board, but it would be nice if it didn't have to be done whilst mocking people
... Exemples perhaps ?

Of course, in your case, we might have, but there was also a sea of other users ...
Otherwise I do not remember a specific occasion.
I'm not sure if you can do this already but being able to change the order of your faces would be nice.
You can't.

It's not a feature we can implement either.
Maybe more tourneys in the Midlands for the UK. I mean i don't mind trying to find a suitable venue, because London is not all that easy to get to. But i don't want to create a tournment lol. I'm not good with that stuff.

Did you know that that post is almost two-months-old ? catslikeeggs attended a tournament since, from what I remember.

Moreover, your signature is too large.

The size of your signature as a whole went over that limit. Text and spaces usually count, although we are lenient. For some reason on my screen it is way too large ...

Uhh ok lol i took out the text. now i think its ok since its just 2 words and an image.

As I wrote in my edit, I am not sure now hah : perhaps it was fine before, but, on my screen, it really looks as if you had pressed the "Enter" button several times before adding the picture in your signature, however you have not ... But less is always better, hah.
It'd be nice if there was some function where you could see who quoted you, and in what thread, so you could reply easily.

you could just read the threads you post in
If replying to a thread of interest is your priority, you can click the Subscribe to this thread [Image: subscribe.gif] option on the bottom left of the thread.
Well, if you don't agree, that was just my opinion on what could be added.
It's impossible to implement that feature, so I'm giving you an alternative.
Have you even tried to know that it's impossible?

... Do you know that Brad used to be the Director of the World Beyblade Organization ? He also owned Off the Chain years ago ? I think he would know : it is possible for us to see what plugins are available for myBB, and the one you requested is not.

Seriously, if I were you I would stop being so offensive/defensive to somebody like Brad, especially on such questions.
How was I offensive? If anything, you and him seem to be the most offensive people here, with sarcastic and snarky comments. This isn't the view just of myself, as other members, such as Potato a few posts above, have mentioned before.

I thought this would be a thread where suggestions would either be taken on or denied affably, not a thread where moderators try to embarrass or be mean to members. In fact, nearly every single thread that you two patrol seems to include some type of offensiveness from you two. For example, how is it a 'jerk move' of people comparing Brad's girlfriend to his old girlfriend in that they look similar? Is that offensive? No, it's just an accurate observation.

You can try and bully members into behaving a certain way just because you're moderators, but you'll soon realise that you're just trying to influence a site about beyblades - beyblades being just a toy/'hobby', and so your influence holds little weight, or significance, in the real world.

I may be part of Committee, but I genuinely find Kai-V one of the most affable people around here ... Never has she been "snarky" or "sarcastic". Brad gave a genuine work-around to your problem, which is one of this thread's intentions, to provide alternatives to additions we cannot provide.

It's called tact; generally people don't do it. And seriously, it wasn't even directed at you; G is one of Brad's best friends, so it's all very light-hearted.

We're trying to keep order; honestly, you're the one who's making a mountain out of a molehill. We all know this isn't the "real world", but certainly one of the rules here is to respect our influence.

To answer your earlier question, there is no plugin to replicate what you are looking for, and it is unlikely there will be one either; it would be hugely server intensive if a PM was sent out every time someone was quoted. Besides, it would require a dramatic rehaul of the system the board runs on.

Even though I may not agree with what you said, thank you.
lol G has stayed at my house for a week before, so please don't tell me how to talk to my good friend

when people have a new girlfriend they generally don't want to hear "oh looks like your old girlfriend", i wasn't mad or anything

you are talking really rudely to a lot of influential and hard-working people and for your own good i'd suggest you stop it Smile
I think as a regular member I may also have a small bit of input.

While when I first joined I may have half-heartedly agreed with you, I now see no reason to. I always wondered why committee members snapped at what seemed like harmless questions. However after being a member for almost 6 months, with the same (easily researchable) questions cropping up every other day, it was easy to see how annoying it can get.

There are many forums in the world, and this is one of the best run/cleanest I have ever come across. The strict rules really help to create a community that (if you are a decent poster) is a real pleasure to be a part of. The only thing I think that they could do is perhaps tell people that they are wrong in a nicer way. I don't mean to be hypocritical as I do the same often enough. And if you are trying to enforce a law the best way is to be as strict as possible.

As far as your comment goes I don't think you really appreciate how hard it is to build a website as functional as this one. When Brad created OtC he was 15 I believe and while that site (which I only visited once or twice and was not a member of BTW) was not nearly as good as this one, it is still an achievement none the less is it not? The WBO site is put together by an amazing team and I think they would know if your request was possible.

I have seen these comments about rudeness before and I have finally been able to put my words on paper (so to speak). Please have a great time here but be careful of comments like that. All it will do is put you in a bad light with the community.
Benkei, you pretty much summed it up. The way the community is run rewards thoughtful posters. People who just want to spam/make posts they don't think through will not enjoy their time here. Honestly, if you don't have anything thoughtful to post, it's better to just read rather than write anyway.
Cpt. Squirrel, with what others have stated above, I do not think I have much left to say. However, I seriously do not understand how so many of my posts can supposedly be perceived as 'sarcastic' or 'mean' : I often write them as bored statements, indifferent replies. Why people see them in the wrong way is out of my reach ... Unless we follow this particular philosophy that claims that somebody will be hurt by a comment if they (unconsciously) recognise that they are indeed guilty, that it is true. I do not know.

I think that particular comment was more directed at brad, and you learn to live with his comments. Besides, him calling you on dumb decisions forces you to ACTUALLY STOP MAKING DUMB DECISIONS.

Back on topic, I'd really like to see more on the beychannel. It's been far too long since there was a video posted and it was really interesting to watch.
