I vote for entry 2..it looks scary..entry 1 is also good...but I like 2 a little more

Entry 1 its Light Yagami not Ayami and i vote for Entry 1 because even though he just use wire frame C4D's and lowered the opacity it has a proper light source and good text placement and some depth as well
I don't wan't to create any talk to the render that Entry 1 has, but I will agree that it is from the manga
Voting on 1. it has better focal and lighting, including the flow.
2 on the other hand lost it when the scanlines where placed. flow got destroyed. Put the renders AT THE TOP of the scan lines, not below it. and never lower an opacity of a render unless needed

ENTRY ONE. It blends in more.
Entry one is my vote. Compared to entry 2 it is cleaner. Spaced out better. Overall a much better sig.
i vote for entry1 cause it seems that the creator have worked on it if u notice the second entry there is a puple bg, 2 renders , a fractal and scanlines

E1: 12
E2: 5 however 4 because of the penalty.
Both look LQ.
E1 : Focal needs more sharpening for depth. Render composition looks OK since the appealing part is revealed. I don't like the C4D's though , they look fine but need more blending. Although render choice is bad , the focal should have more flow. The lighting looks good. Not to mention that there is only one focal which is good and it doesn't detracts the main focus from the focal point. I like the colors , but more complimentary colors would have made the piece more appealing.
E2 : It needs more work , there isn't any basics used in there (Lighting , depth , flow , colors etc.). And the focals are disturbed , only one focal will improve the tag. Don't lower their opacity until its necessary. There also isn't much going on atm. No lighting , lighting would make this better. Instead of using plain solid colors for the background , try more darker colors since the render is a dark character.
My vote goes to entry 1.
The font on Entry 2 is more fitting. (Well, it is the actual title for Death Note

I think everyone voting for the second entry is seeing Death Note for its first level, not the deeper meaning it has. Death Note is really not just about scary monsters and all ...
