I vote for entry
EDIT: Oh sorry forgot to say what entry I vote for, entry 2 now that I look at entry 1 more it is a little plain it wold be cool to see an entry out of the ordinary
I vote Entry 2. Good blending, and Entry 1 was a little too plain.
Entry 1 is better it is more colorful and recives my vote but 2 is not that good in black and white

I voted and stated my reason............
Entry 1, clearly a Brawl render. I see a lot of brushes interfering with the image (see bottom left and left area), and if you want an outer space theme, which you seem to be going for, try to slightly blur the background image. I can clearly see the lines in what is supposed to be empty space. However, I appreciate the depth that you put into the sig, and the text blends pretty well. It looked like part of the gun for a second. XD It's hard to tell that the Great Fox is sitting down there in the bottom of background, so exactly why is it there?

Entry 2, while I appreciate the black and white effect, the text doesn't blend at all into the background, and much of the image is indecipherable because of you just making the image black and white after completing a color sig.

After all that, I'm voting for entry 1.

Lol,
no matter who losses or wins Nodoo, good game. Smile

Yeah, good game. Best entry I've seen from you so far Joyful_3 I guess that means the tournament served it's purpose; to help improve Tongue_out I know I've improved, and so have you.
I would say entry 1, its got good rendering, background and blend.
i vote for entry 1

i vote no 1, i like the coulor and the lack of the expected fox and replaced by someone else thats in the game is a good turn. it would be cool if there was a boss like andross in one of these entries but alas.
I vote number 2 it just looks better to me although the text does seem a bit out of place i still think it looks good.
I vote entry 2. No.1 image quality seems bad. I don't know wether it was intentional, but I don't find it effective. The scratchews in the background don't look good and add to the bad quality. In No.2 the black and white works really well in terms of contrast and the kind of thick fluid like background is awesome. Its actually quite eye catching because of the added background. The liquid effect, in terms of analysis, kind of reminds me of blood, adding to the danger presented by the gun. Its just the text, its too light for my liking and doesn't work with the rest of the sig.
I congrat both of u, but vote entry 2
i vote entry 1 the background is good and it blends well too
I vote entry 1, the black and white in entry 2 looks bad and so does the text placement. Entry 1 has a lot going on and is slightly grainy (if you know what I mean) but it is still better than entry 2.

Entry 1 takes my vote because it shows a great full color photo of falco (My favorite Star Fox character) while showing that Participant 1 didn't just find a picture off google and be done. He/she put time and that one might not have been the first.
I vote entry 2.

Entry 2 has a smokey "fog of war" kind of effect that I find appealing.
Entry 1, while colorful, looks painfully over sharpened with the unsharp mask.

Can't you see that thre is work done on the render in entry 2?
Both entry's have work on renders, no artist just puts a render in a signature and says "done".

Entry 1 the laser effects look awesome and everything is so vibrant.

Come on people, 14 votes isn't enough for a graphics battle!
Entry 1: Too flashy. Try taking the effects out and LIMIT them.
Entry 2: The graphic pen work doesn't really look good. Having B&W sigs are cool but not always. Sometimes, you just need colors.
