Chapter 1
The Land Hidden in a Cave

In a secret world hidden in a cave, there was a battle, but no ordinary battle.

It was an argot battle.

Argots were big animal-like creatures that lived in a world, hidden in a cave. In the cave there was a land which had four islands. One which was covered in trees which was owned by the wood argots which were argots that could control wood and plants. They were made of wood and plants. Their arms, legs, head and their front and back were all made of wood. They had one sprout on their head which stayed the same size the whole way through their lives.

The one at the other side of the land was an island owned by the aqua argots. Their land was barely an island. It had a ring running around the island which was made of earth. But the actual island was water. The aqua argots spent most of the time in the water. The aqua argots were blue with fin-like arms.


Then the island in the middle was like your average island. It had trees, sand and loads of sun which was owned by the wind argots. It was a paradise. The wind argots could fly with the wind as if they were as light as a feather. The wind argots were black but they wore a white cloak.

The last island was covered in volcanoes and lava which was owned by the fire argots. The fire argots were orange and red. They had armour all over their body. They also had a flame burning upon their head. When they slept the flame would go out. They are very strong and very brave.

Every argot family was in war with each other. The whole war was over who could have all the land. Each family wanted to own all the land. There was cannons, catapults and chaos. It was the biggest war argot land has ever had. Argot land had a few wars before but they were never as bad as this one. This war is even worse than any human war.


The wood argots were the ones who started the war. They were the ones who wanted all the land. Then all the other familys joined in. They all started fighting each other for every single part of argot land. Thats what started the argot war.

Then in the human world, there was four friends. They were best friends. They have been best friends for a long time. The oldest one, Dylan, was ten and the youngest one, Michael, was seven. And then there was Lauren who was eight and there was Ella who was nine. Dylan had a swimming competition and he came last. Michael was someone who really wanted to skydive. Ella would always love to watch her dad welding metals. Her dad would weld metals as his job. Ella wanted to be like her dad when she grew up. And she was a lot different than everyone else. And Lauren had a famous garden of vegtables, flowers and trees. She had a great love for plants. They were all best friends.

Chapter 2
The Beach

On Monday, after school, Dylan said to Ella: "I think that we should go for a walk down by the the beach with Michael and Lauren." "I'll go get Lauren and you get Michael." said Ella. "See you later at the beach." said Dylan. Dylan walked towards the airport where he thought Michael would be.

When he got to the airport he saw Michael arguging with the pilot. "For the last time, Michael. You are too young to skydive!" said the pilot. "But I really want to!" said Michael. Dylan shouted to Michael: "Michael, we're going to the beach later with Ella and Lauren." "Okay, I'll see all of you later at the beach." replied Michael. Dylan walked home.

Ella went over to Lauren's house to find Lauren gardening, as usual. "Lauren, Can you meet me at the beach later. Dylan and Michael are coming as well." said Ella. "Okay, I'll see you later," Lauren waved at Ella. "Bye!"

Later, Dylan started walking to the beach. He was bored so he went early. He ran at the end because he saw a dog chasing him. He ran all the way to the beach. When he got there, he just sat down on a bench and waited for everyone to come. Hours past and nobody came. Then when he was leaving, Ella walked up. And then Michael, and then Lauren. "We are here!" shouted Ella.

"What took you so long?" said Dylan. Ella replied: "I said we would meet here later. Later usually means the evening!" "Oh! Well lets go for a walk. They walked for a while when they reached a cave. It was an oddly shaped cave. It was nearly a perfect oval. Dylan stepped away from it. But Lauren stepped up to it. She started to walk into it. And suddenly she dissapeared. It was as if it was a portal. Ella ran after her and then she dissapeared. Michael ran after her and said: "Come back!" Dylan stayed back and then he decided to follow his friends. He closed his eyes and ran.

When he opened his eyes he landed on a ship. It was a fire argot ship. But he didn't know that. He saw his friends tied up. He shouted over to them: "How did you get tied up?" Lauren replied: "Those creatures tied us up! Help!" Then suddenly a big creature thing grabbed him and put him with his friends. "Help" they all shouted. And one of the creatures said "Oh, just stop. You're on a fire argot ship and obviously, you're traitors." And suddenly Ella got really angry and she turned into a fire argot and burnt the ropes.

"What just happened to you?" Dylan said frightened a bit. "I don't know. I just got angry and this happened."said Ella. "We've tied up one of our own. Let this fire argot out. But keep the other prisoners tied up. Ella whispered to Michael: "If they think I'm one of them, maybe I can tell them to let you out." Michael replied: "Okay." "Let these humans out. You can trust them." said Ella. "Let the prisoners out!" said one of the fire argots. And they were let out.

Then the ship came to a stop at an island. It was the wind argots island. They were about to attack the wind argots. "Everybody who's attacking the wind argots, lets go."said the head fire argot. And the invasion began. But when every argot was gone except for Ella, who somehow turned back, they all got out of the ship and started wandering the island. It was a paradise. It was like Hawaii times two. Then they were seen by a wind argot.

Chapter 3
Learning the element

"Quick over here! C'mon over here!" said a wind argot. Dylan ran over. But the others stayed behind. "C'mon guys. He looks friendly." said Dylan. "Of course I'm friendly. Why do you think I would help you," said the wind argot. The others walked over as well. "What are you humans doing in argot land?" said the wind argot. "We went into a cave and here we are." said Michael. "But only argots can get in and out. How did you?" said the wind argot. "Well I turned into one of them flaming guys. Am I one?" said Ella. "You must be the half human and half argot people who live in the human world." "But the three of us didn't change at all." said Lauren pointing at Michael and Dylan. "You are argots. You just don't know it. Oh and by the way, my name is Robo."said the wind argot.

"Nice to meet you, Robo." said Dylan. Robo said:"You," pointing at Dylan. "You should be an aqua argot. Just focus on water and the way it moves." said Robo. "Okay." said Dylan. And Dylan closed his eyes and he just did what Robo said. And suddenly he just grew into a big blue creature. Dylan opened his eyes and he was suprised to see how tall he was. "Wow! I'm huge." he said. "Now you're an aqua argot. You should be able to control and generate water by just focusing on what you want to do in your head." said Robo. Dylan focused on water shooting out of his hand. And then he opened his eyes and it happened. Water shot out of his hand. And he focused on water rising fromt he ground and it happened. He could also glide through the water and he could glide on the water. "This is so cool!" Dylan said.

The same happened to Lauren. She found out that she was a wood argot. She could control and generate wood and plants. It was the same as controling water except you focus on wood and plants. She could grow a tree which was fifty feet tall in about half a second. She thought it was very cool. And then with Michael, he was a wind argot. He could control wind and he could even glide through through the sky. He turned into the tallest even though he was the youngest and he thought it was so much fun. And then Ella was able to control and generate fire. She was able to shoot fire from her hands. She was even was able to shoot fire from her hands and her feet and start flying. She thought that her argot was the best.

"Well done, guys," said Dylan "We are the best!" "Wow! I've never seen argots that catch on so quickly. Oh, I forgot to tell you something. We have a prophecy on the wall of secrets in the wood argot's land that says that four humans are going to come and turn into argots and save the argot land from a war. Nobody knew what the war was until now. Well actually I'm the only one who thinks that it is this war. But I know it is now!" said Robo. "Thank you, Robo. But where do we go?"said Michael "You have to go to every island and stop the war in that island. And if any argot tries to get in the way you have to destroy them. And I'd start with the wind argot's island so I can go home." said Robo. "Let's go!" shouted Lauren.

Chapter 4
Saving The Wind Argot's Land


The four friends got to the main town of the wind argot's land. They hid behind a wall. They saw the battle. It was huge. There was about two hundred fire argots and one hundred wind argots. "Okay. What are we going to do?" said Dylan. "What if we just go in and fight?" said Michael. "No, we need a plan if we want to win. What if I make a tree at the entrance to the town to stop them from leaving when we go in." said Lauren. "And I put it on fire so they won't try to climb over it." said Ella. "Okay. And then we all go in and fight. And only kill them if they try to kill you. Okay?" said Dylan. "Okay lets go!" said Michael. They all transformed into their argots. And then they attacked.

Michael was doing very well untill one fire argot attacked him and tried to kill him but he ducked out of the way. And then he attacked him as hard as he could but it didn't kill him, but it knocked him over and he didn't get back up. Ella was also doing well, a wind argot shot loads of wind at her and it knocked her over. And then the wind argot was about to kill her when Dylan shot a blast of water at the wind argot and saved her. "Thank you, Dylan. Lets go!" said Ella. And they both started fighting again. Lauren was growning plants and wrapping them around both the fire argots and the wind argots.

They were winning. They were winning by a lot. Then all of a sudden the head of the wind argots and the head of the fire argots started to work together. It was hard to defeat them. They definetly couldn't kill the head of wind argots or the head of the fire argots. So they had to be careful. They decided to wrap them both up in plants. The head of the fire argots burnt the plants and easily got out. He got the head of the wind argots out as well. Then the head of the wind argots shot a blast of wind at them all and knocked them over. Then the head of the fire argots shot a blast of fire but Dylan shot a blast of water to counter it. And then the four friends decided to all shoot something at them. So thats what they done and then the fire argots started to flee on their ships. And then they were gone.

"Mister, hmmm, Mister wind argot guy. Hello!" said Dylan. "What do you want traitor, stay away from us!" said the head of the wind argots. "We're not traitors, we're trying to stop the war. And we're not stopping!"shouted Michael.

Chapter 5
Finding a Ride

The four friends were very happy that they were able to restore peace to the island. They decided that they should maybe stay the night there because it was getting late. But they didn't know where to stay. Then they thought about camping. What they were going to do was, Lauren was going to create a dome with her plants and trees. And she was going to make fire logs with her trees to make a fire. They were going to get Ella to light the fire because she is a fire argot. So they stayed the night.

In the morning, they were wondering how they were going to get to the other islands. They thought of Dylan carrying them across because he could glide on water, but that wouldn't work. They thought of just swimming the whole way there, but would take to long. So they walked to the beach to have a look. They were looking out into the sea when they saw a small abandoned boat. Dylan went out to get it. And he brought it back to shore. It had a motor and they could easily get to the other islands.

When they got on the boat and started the motor it didn't work. It needed a battery. They ran to the town where the battle was to see if they had any batterys. They had one in the shop. But they had no money. But luckily the shop was empty. So they wrote a letter and left it in the window just to tell the shopkeeper that they took it and it said: "Sorry about taking your battery but we need it for our motorboat to save the argot land. Thank you." So they took the battery and brought it back and put it in the motor. And then it worked perfectly. They were on their way to the aqua land. When they saw a wood argot ship. It started attacking them. They were shooting rocks from a catapult. None of them hit them, but they nearly tipped over the boat. The only thing thing they could do was get Dylan to move the water so they go faster. They got away quickly.

They were nearly there when they saw Robo on a wind argot ship on their way to the aqua argot island. Robo was waving at them. "Robo quick, jump!" said Dylan half whispering and half shouting. Robo decided to jump. "Ahhhh" he shouted. The other wind argots didn't notice him jumping. "What were you doing on a battle ship? I thought you wanted to stop the war."said Ella. "You don't have a choice whether you want to battle or not! It is very annoying!" said Robo. Having restored peace to the island of the wind argots, they couldn't help wondering what was going on in the other islands.
