Full Version: Why does Hasbro keep renaming the Beys?!

Hasbro is starting to tick off alot of people by renaming the Beys.Cause they're naming the Beys names that make no sense at all.Like Gravity Destroyer. In the show Julius tells about the Greek hero that killed madusa,Perseus, but instead of saying Perseus he said Destroyer because his bey is named after Perseus, but because of Hasbor's renaming they made him say destroyer.

I'm not the only one ticked off by Hasbro's renaming.A couple of my friends including MAX-D,Flame Aries, and Nuclear Hades are mad at these renamings.

If you're mad at Hasbro's constant renaming post your feelings here.
you posted the same bad thread in 2 places...that would be SPAM.

No one really cares about the name on the packaging. Even if you do not understand why Hasbro does it, they do it for certain reasons, and you not knowing or caring is irrelevant.

Because this is in Beyblade General, it may or may not be closed, so do not be suprised if a mod does so.

Ok.Sorry about posting this thread twice. But I just want to get other bladers' feelings about the renaming.Cause I believe that it's not necessary for them to do it.Even though I know they do it for legal purposes.
Cultural differences between the Western and Eastern worlds dictate the name changes, and most of them are largely due to "Soccer Mom" methods of thinking. It's a very old "issue" for western releases of japanese products, and something you're around ten years late on bringing up. The company sees it as necessary because, unfortunately, it IS necessary. Avoiding legal issues as much as possible is mandatory for any company.
Not all of the name changes are bad Scratch that the only good name change I known of is Hell to Hades not a good Name in coolness and stuff however wouldn't want 8 years old Cursing 50 Times a day for kids
America has always been greatly influenced by the soccor mom. It is very sad IMO. A world without them would be such a better place...this isn't just about beyblades...it is like a soccor mom's goal in life is to find one explicit thing that indirectly relates to something else, and then they turn it into an uneeded issue.

So in conclusion, none of this is Hasbro's fault. They are just trying to avoid wacko overprotective soccor moms, who's hobbies include fighting about anything and attempting to sew for no reason. We should take pity on Hasbro for having to deal with that kind of carp...

I know this. But i just wanna get other bladers' feelings about this. Also Hasbro is more of a kiddie to producing company. So this is the most likey reason they're changing the names.Like if a 4 or 5 year old went into a store with their mom or dad do you think the parents will let them buy something that says Hell Kerbecs?Just stating the name "Hell".

Like I already said just want to get others' feelings about this name changing.
Doesn't matter. Call them what you want. Most of it is for the better as posted above.
This just does not deserve a topic.
