The OP said 1 week when you signed up. I don't understand why this would be such an issue now since you knew about the time limit when agreeing.
oh yeah, i guess i can fit it in then, but i didn't know it would start straight away, but i can still probably draw it while i'm on holiday, i'm just saying it probably won't be as good.

Do we need to have a battle, or just show us facing off? By Vs. you could simply mean that we are going to face each other, but there is a cliffhanger ending the starts when we launch or something.

No extensions. If itachi8 can get it done in a few hours, so can you all. A week is more than plenty time. I lost power and ive been dealing with a flood, but I'm not complaining.

I don't think I'd be able to finish my art in time, as I have tons of homework, and my school started a week earlier than most schools. I completed the rough outline, but it's not fully done and I can't complete it within the deadline.

Don't worry, it happens with all competitions/tournaments here. Just maybe extend it until Sunday and it should be fine. You won't receive all but you'll receive most.
