If u like poetry, show us some of your work! Here's some of mine:
Torn:
How many times can a person be broken before they fall apart?
How many lives have to be destroyed in order to obtain the peace after the war?
How many dreams must be shattered to realize that they don't come true?
And how many exceptional people have received a better burial than a person who tries their hardest to be the best that they can be?
Torn between the lies of perdition,
Telling us all it will be okay when it won't,
And the truth that this world of hatred,
Will not last long enough to stop the apocalyptic tragedies to come.
The pain of the malicious is reflected in their actions,
Showing their caring side when the world is already to lost to save,
Where is this uncivilized society headed next,
And how can there be such a thing as fighting for peace?
Torn between the raging volcano of riots,
Screaming for all their individual troubles to cease when they suffer together, anyway,
And the overwhelming odds of destruction looming overhead,
Because we all are to blame.
Complain all that you want,
There is no escape from destruction, so accept it now.
There is not a thing that the universe can do to reverse the cataclysmic events that are already behind us,
Nor change their outcome.
And then, it all will end...
