Here are the current posters, they're pretty high res, there are currently two different poster designs, yet these are liable to change.
If anyone wants to print these off and put them around their town, or ask if their can put them up in shop windows (ideally shops like forbidden planet, tokyotoys.etc)

What were these done in? Can I have the file?

They were done in a mix of adobe photoshop and illustrator.
The files are about 80MB each at the moment, and I don't have a great internet connection, so I'm not sure how I'd get them to you other than uploading then to megaupload or something, but that might take quite a while.
Okay, update me when you can!
What was it you wanted the files for, just to see how the posters were made, or to make edits yourself?
Both really.

Ok, well I'll try and zip file them and upload them to megaupload.
If it's trouble don't go out of your way to do it. Thanks though.
I'm not really liking the font colour against the background on the first poster. The words clash too much with the background so the words don't stand out and it's a bit hard to read. Because with posters people usually just glance at it, they wouldn't really stand there trying to figure out what it said so it has to be easy to read and pick out the info. I think you should change the font colour. Otherwise, it looks good. And on the second one, the words could be a bit bigger.
I really like the second one a lot!

Nice Job!
I think I like the Pepsi one best. They're both good though. However, we still need to decide what is happening with the actual logo and whether either the logo or poster should be changed to fit with the other.

I don't mind putting up posters/flyers in certain shops. Main places would be the anime/game shops in Central London, I can do smaller places too but that's probably just a waste of paper.

Also, are there any plans for printing these? Get them printed off professionally? One person gets them printed professionally and distributes to others? People get them printed seperately? If it turned out to be expensive then my school has a rather nice colour printer that I might be able to use. It's actually broken at the moment but I'm hoping it'll be fixed by the time I go back (it better be, I need to print off my coursework XD).
Just read the post in the Spinoff thread.

If it's just for the day then they should be fine. A location and time would be best but we don't know them yet. Also, if you wanted posters that people can take the address from, you could make some with the tear off parts at the bottom. As opposed to flyers.

However, I don't think it's really obvious that it's a poster for beyblades. Obviously we can see that but for someone who hasn't seen a beyblade since they played with the plastics a number of years ago or a younger person who doesn't really remember when beyblades were popular, it might not be so easy to tell.
I like both and eh, Tokyotoys? I don't think we have one anywhere near us.
Tokyotoys is in the Trocadero. Other good shops would be Forbidden Planet, Orbital Manga, Japan Center, possibly Adanami Shobo and JP-Books (does this place still exist?), the manga sections of bookshops, around Chinatown, videogame shops and hobby stores.
Also, Time Trek that I mentioned in the other thread is in Bromley, not London.

That may be going over the top a little though. XD
I don't think I have heard of any of those shops but we do have a cartoon shop which does manga, sci-fi, game stuff, etc but it is a small place and not really in a place it can be seen.
Well you've heard of them now. If you're into anime/manga/etc. then you should check them all out. :3
Also, I don't think whether it can be seen by people outside is much of an issue. If the shop gets a steady flow of customers then that should be fine. The type of people that shop in such a place are going to be the people who go to a Beyblade Tourney anyways. XD

By the way, Rocky, if you decide to put a poster in Tokyo Toys, you couldn't ask them about stocking MFB's could you?
They seem like the kind of place that might take an interest if there's enough of a following, if they can get competitive prices on em, they'll be getting international orders as well.
Maybe we could ask theintoy about this, maybe if we made a banner or something since it'd generate them some sales?
Cartoon shop is good for it then because the kind of stuff it sells which I said about are also sold at the expo all at the same time so it might well be a good place.
The first one is a mess. It looks like Dark Wolf and Storm Pegasis were just pasted onto the poster and the text on the bottom is really difficult to read because of the weird effects you have over them.

The second one is 100x better. The style matches MFB much better. I'm not a fan of using the typeface on the bottom for representing important information such as the date and venue, but I suppose it should be kept to be consistent with the design of the WBO.

Is this definitely happening then? :3 I was thinking of emailing them anyways, I just never got around to it so that would be a good oppurtunity.......^^; I did ask some other shop but that was more of a complaint about high P&P with a beyblade question interspersed. Pinching_eyes_2 On a side note, I did have an awesome dream where they sold MFBs at Orbital. XD

I though we already had a similiar sort of arrangement with theintoy?
Giga, uploaded the psd's to megaupload, you'll need to unzip them http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AIT72FJC

Also, it would be cheaper to print, ne? :3
