hey I have been thinking for days to see if I should post this because I don't know if it is pointless, but today I just said I will. Well anyway this a thread were you can talk about the old Pokemon games, that includes Pokemon blue and red, and Pokemon yellow, Pokemon gold and silver and Pokemon Crystal, no newer games than those. So I guess I will start thing off by saying does any one else hear play the old game, to tell you the truth I hate the new games and the Pokemon are whack XD
This can go in the General Pokemon Thread or it can go in the Gold/Silver/Ruby etc. So it is pointless.
i liked emerald and xd also cryistal and yellow
I still like emerald too but I am mostly talking about the games for game boy color.

It's seperate and more specific so no it shouldn't imo
Whatever personally I agree with the view that the older one were better. When I heard about Soul Silver and Heart Gold I carped myself I was so excited. It's mainly the pokemon though. The pokemon from Red and Blue were easily the coolest of the all for me. Silver and Gold gold pokemon were great too but still the first ones were the best. The pokemon in Diamond and pearl were just pretty crummy to me. There were none that I could pick out were I could go "Wow that's an awesome pokemon" like I could with so many from the Kanto and Johto ones. They're all just wierd and gay.
The pokemon in the old games were so hard to catch for me, but I was excited too when I heard about soul silver because I had never played in the Johto region.
I'm a big fan of the Game Boy and Game Boy color games, too bad they're so hard to find.
But there's a site called PlayR with a bunch of old school games with all of the Pokemon Game Boy games. (Actually, there the most popular ones on the site). Link for PlayR:

I loved Blue,Red,Green, and Yellow, a friend and I are making a comic about the four main characters. In one comic Red accidentally catches Blue with a PokeBall and one where Yellow beats Professor Oak up with a banana and steals Pikachu.
Actually, FR/LG, R/S/E are getting pretty old. They're 8 years old. So why can't we discuss those?

I just ran a playthrough of Pokemon Yellow. I really liked it and it was fun to compare it to the remakes of the Kanto region! My team was:
Venasaur
Charizard
Pidgeot
Pikachu (Yep! I kept it all the way through!)
Mewtwo (Best Pokemon in the game)
Blastoise
Now I'm playing Firered again, and I plan to have a team that is made of:
Mr. Mine (Currently have it)
Charizard (Currently have it)
Fearow (Have it)
Vaperon (Got it...)
Gengar (Don't have it, but I have a Gastly in training)
Mewtwo
So anyway, after I finished pokemon yellow, I wanted to do Pokemon Silver, but the game broke...
What I mean is, it won't save the game anymore, probably since I had sooooooooooooooo use on it. Oh well.
