It is on topic. The battles are supposed to be done anonymously so that people don't know who's entry is which, and it doesn't become a popularity contest. The entries are all sent to the person who started the battle, and they post them in the op without giving the names of the people who made the entries.
Exactly what Swift said, aqua you technically made a graphics battle without knowing how to organise one lol.
