Hey guys, I need your opinion, which one of these do you think is better?

Version 1:

Version 2:

Version 2 has added brushing to coincide with the three colours of Storm Pegasis's Face.
second one looks like confetti

not particularly feeling either of them to be honest
I like the 1st one better

Yeah, I know what you mean. It isn't my best. My original Pegasis one was much better. I'm too lazy to re-do it (Photoshop actually crashed on me just as I had gotten a decent amount of things done and I had to restart. That was due to my stupidity though), the result is good enough.
To light for me, try and make S Pegasis stand out more.
Im going with Giga, theres just too much....something. I have a lot of pics of storm pegasis if that helps Smile

If you let the "Storm Pegasis" text stand out too much it wouldn't look professional.
tbh I'm not too sure about either of them but if I had to pick out of the 2, I'd say the first one.
It's too pale. Try adjusting the curves to amplify the colour. I'd also try duplicating some layers and screwing around with the blending options. Generally, that has some good options.
Hmm.....I think I like the first one best. Maybe you could have some darkness coming in from one side to make it less pale overall?

EDIT: Wow, 3000th post. Chocked
Thanks everyone. I guess I will use the first one.

For the one I'm using, I did make some curves/levels changes to the signature, but they are very subtle.

Uh, I mean the Blade not the text :\ Don't lecture me unless you know what your talking about.
I like the second one better. Looks like rose pettles and I'm diggin that.
Looks like I'm late, but I like the 2nd one.

Yeah, the first one definitely looks better. The paint splatters looked too messy next to the uniform (if you will) grid pattern in the second one. It looked a bit too overdone.
Hey Kei, they both lack serious contrast man. It looks nearly all one value.
I know you got more skillz than that.. Smile

I agree. There is actually a gradient set to Lighten on top of most of the elements that contributed to that, but I wasn't sure if I really liked how it looked without it ...

i think you need to start over bro

I don't think its that bad. Serious
ok but in return you never get to whine about my designs again
I think the left of the image needs to be darker and the edge of the image needs to be more defined toward the end to give it more body. It looks too flat right now. Also, I'd ease up on the textures. Between the back image, grid, and what would look like wind strikes, it's too much. Try airbrushing a shadow below the Beyblade to take the eye away from the texture a little bit.

EDIT: Why do I ALWAYS somehow get the top of the page. Even in OtC...
I think its some kinda chain link fence texture, its very visually distracting. I think deikailo is getting at this too.
the last one you posted makes the font much more readable btw

man starting over ain't a bad thing, it will take half the time and come out better. I've done it many times this semester lol
There needs to be more depth as well as other colours. Right now, I could almost say I am looking at a slightly coloured sheet, the kind you write sophisticated letters on. Only the red from the stickers truly helps distinguish the beyblade, therefore there could be a more homogeneous body of red in the background, below Storm Pegasis. The latter's borders are grey because of the Metal Wheel, so it was not a good idea to colour the background in grey tones (grey-blue, grey-brown/red, etc.). Also, is there a particular reason the beyblade is submerged in grey on the left ? Where is the beginning and the end of the blade on that side. Personally, I cannot know where the light that is reflected on the Metal Wheel originates either.
The text would have been more readable with a simple white colour, not a white outer stroke. That stroke should be softer to coincide with the rest of the signature anyway, if you really want to keep it.

I like the white pattern you added on top of everything though. I hope it can be kept.
Wow, guys, I really do appreciate all of the wonderful suggestions you guys have given me.

I'll try all of these suggestions.

Yeah, that is exactly what it is. Perhaps I didn't think it was as distracting after staring at the sig for so long while creating it haha. I'll see what it looks like without it.

I will experiment with the white text and the red-ish backgrounds to help differentiate between Storm Pegasis and the rest of the signature. Hrm, I guess it does look like it is simply submerged in grey ... There was a reason I did that, but it didn't turn out well I suppose, so it is irrelevant. I will remove it.

White pattern? Are you referring to the chain link fence Blue and Deikailo mentioned to remove?

I suppose. To me, it looks like that effect that can be done with lights, mostly in anime though ... I do not know how to describe it. However, it does not look like a "chain link fence" in my opinion, which is why it should stay if you decide to keep the very bright spots on Storm Pegasis' Metal Wheel.
