Ginga really does over use Pegasis's "Shooting Star Attack"... he needs a new one. lol thats why i liked it when he lost to Ryuuga. not to mention Ryuusei (Gingas father) used the same attack against Ryuuga.
The battle between Kai and Tyson in all the three series were my favourite and from MFB..my favourite battle was Masamune vs Nile..because all the beys used in these battles are my favourite beys as well.

As far as the metal saga. Ryuga vs Rago / tsubasa and you vs benkei and demure. Those are my favorite two.
Well, I guess I have my top 5 favorites. They'll seem pretty generic but whatever.
1. Kai vs Brooklyn (2)
2. Kyoya vs Damian
3. Ray vs Crusher
4. Gingka vs Kyoya (Explosion)
5. Tyson vs Kai (G-Rev) or Kyoya vs Ryuga (MFB)
I'll admit, I'm a huge fan of how Beyblade breaks that trend where only the main character can defeat the strongest antagonist, which explains the top two. Ray vs. Crusher was just plain intense and a close battle, as was Kyoya vs Ryuga. The tie between Gingka and Kyoya was literally 50% plot and 50% not wanting to make Kyoya lose again. Same goes for Tyson vs Kai, as they tied the first time and then Tyson barely pulled out the win.
With the post above, I agree, Beyblade did break this trend. I mean Tyson defeating both Zeo and Tala on plot was bad enough, but seeing Kai & Kyoya finally get a victory, breaking the chain of always being a top tier blader but losing to the main villain was broken.
Top 5:
1) Kai vs Brooklyn (Round 2)
2) Kai vs. Ray
3) Tyson vs. Kai
4) Kyoya vs. Damian
5) Ryuga vs. Rago

I'd have to say... Kai Vs Brooklyn, their second battle, it was pretty good, Ming-Ming's battle was interesting but wasn't that great.
Kai Vs Brooklyn Round 2 is all that matters! ^___^
My favorite battles are:
5-
Tyson VS Kai (2000, First Battle)
This battle showed Tyson that he was weak, and didn't know how to blade well just yet. It's an amazingly short battle. Definitely a statement.
4-
Tyson VS Daichi (G-Revolution, First Battle)
This battle is important. It showed Tyson that he wasn't the strongest still. Even though Tyson won; he learned that the world wasn't done with him.
3-
Tyson VS Ozuma (Final Battle, 2002)
It all comes up to this point. This is the battle to impress Ozuma enough to let the BladeBreakers keep their bits. It's one of Tyson's hardest battles; yet fun to watch!
2-
Tyson VS Kai (G-Revolution)
While they didn't get to clash their G Blades, they certainly had a fun time using the GT Series Beyblades against each other. The battle is amazing....ya know.
1-
Tyson VS Yuriy (2000, Final Battle)
It all comes down to THIS battle. Trapped in a ice dome, Tyson is defeated...but in the next match...he wins the World Championship!
Classic Series:
5 - Tyson vs Kane round 1 (V-Force)
Easily ignored by many but honestly, this battle highlights something that isn't present a lot in V-Force and that being a competent blader who doesn't use a Bit-Beast and Tyson playing on par with Kane doesn't summon Dragoon, it's a rather respectable match, it's quality is shown at the half way point of the match when Kane shows off that he can completely be on the same level as Tyson and at some cases out maneuver him.
4 - Kai vs Spencer (2000)
While previously shown in the battle with Johnny, Kai can be defeated. When Spencer came to the plate it wasn't completely certain if Kai could beat him. Though the battle was far more than what most expected for Spencer to pull off considering that Spencer completely controlled the match from the get-go. Though personally this battle shines the most in the episode title "Victory in Defeat" as it does show that Kai can handle such a critical defeat.[spoiler]
3 - Rick vs Claude (G-Revolution)
[spoiler]While short and easily forgotten this match highlights Ricks background as well as highlights how far Barthez will go to ruin the image of his opponets. While the match itself was rather interesting to say the least it's also the last time the song "Underdog" is heard. Which does as usual, once again show off how underplayed the Barthez Battalions pure strength was represented.[spoiler]
2 - Ray vs Bryan (2000)
[spoiler]The one thing that made this match so tragic is the soundtrack isn't really lightning, in fact this is one of the few matches where it's morbid at the moment of launch. No lyric needed songs, not much feeling of fortune in the eyes of the enemy. Bryan was (in my opinion) one of the most brutal opponents in the series and the determination of Ray made it hard to watch against a force he can't if at first, even begin to fathom how powerful Bryan was.
1 - Ozuma vs Zeo (V-Force)
While Dungas defeat to Gordo was expected, this match was far more intense then it called for. Since the build up of Zeo training and the sheer victories Ozuma had over Tyson made the odds in favor of Ozuma. Once the battle began to heat up, there was little room for friendly talk. Ozuma was pushed back, the same guy who beat Tyson 3 times, tied to him 1 time, and lost to him once. Was actually forced into a corner. The attitude Zeo possessed made him a threat. The power Ozuma had was enough to make the battle entertaining. The highlight of this match, besides the defeat. Is well all the minor characters discussing it. Most of them can't even begin to fathom how much power either of them possess.
Beyblade Gen 2:
5 ) Jack vs Klaus (Metal Masters)
While I do feel Jack is a more lighter version of Rejii replace his sadistic attitude with an obsession with Art. Klaus is ugh. This match while opening up for the American team is rather interesting I do enjoy the slow introduction actually. It's rather nice. Though how desperate Klaus begins to get is where the battle is at it's tragic moment since up to this point, Klaus seemed rather competent and was rather a force to be reconned with (The only member on Ex-Caliber who actually seemed likable in my opinion). Though the clash of Special moves is honestly the most interesting to look at in the series.
4) Tsubasa vs Argo (Metal Masters)
The only match with the Brazillian Team I found to be interesting though it's interesting for a different reason and that is how Tsubasas big time to shine for Gan-Gan Galaxy has come. Since the opponents strategy is rather the complete opponent of Tsubasa clean battling. This battles rather good because it's a pure dirty battler vs a purely clean battler.
3) Rejii vs Hyoma(Metal Fusion)
The struggle here is rather interesting since the build up is rather beautiful since Rejii at this point is rather unknown, how he played is rather unimportant until he used his Dark Move which caught everyone by surprise and for one of Hyomas final battles, it's a rather excellent one since Rejii used time to his advantage as to Hyoma underestimating Rejii.
2) Tobio and Ryutaro vs Ryuga (Metal Fusion)
Bizarre considering we don't see many of the bad guys actually battling it out. While we were cheated out of seeing another excellent battle this set up did show that Ryutaros special move could be ripped apart as well Tobio does have a decent chance of actually being on the same level as Ryuga(At the time) since Ryuga did have to use his special move.
1) Gingka vs Ryutaro round 2 (Metal Fusion)
The moment Doji changed the rouster I was cheated from seeing the ONLY battle in Battle Bladers that seemed interesting or that didn't happen after it. So instead of him facing Tsubasa(Which Tsubasa would've lost) he was set up to face Gingka. Though this match up had to much at steak on both ends, if Gingka loses he can no longer play beyblade if Ryutaro loses he will have to face Ryuga and be drained of his power. As the battle heated on it was a head on clash on both ends. Since they both had to give it there all. To me this was the only battle bladers match(Prior to episode 42) that a lot of background and weight to it. While we know who will win. It's a lot to handle since if either one of them lose, they will lose everything.
Blader DJ vs American DJ (no lol), Metal fusion: Kyoya vs Ryuga. They even destroyed the stadium before the battle so there could only be one kind of outcome.
I loved Doji vs Ryuga because Doji got rekt HAHA! But seriously i probably liked Damian vs Julian the most just because those are two of my favorite beyblades, gravity perseus and hell kerbecs.
Blader DJ vs American DJ. The best battle of the whole Metal Fight Beyblade serie.
Yeah forget those horrible overrated POS battles like Kai vs Takao or Ryuga vs Rago, BLADER DJ BATTLE DOODS!
Ironically that battle is the most realistic in the series.
Oh this exists. Can we search for old threads? How?
Anyways, here's my list.
1. Shu vs Yugo because whatever background music ost they used that I can't find was glorious. (Please someone help me find it)
2.Free vs Kyle, the latter took a fight seriously, and Free had to put in some effort.
3. Julian vs Dashan, literally felt like watching Beyblade Ball Z
4. Tyson & Daichi vs F-Dynasty Team Battle edition
5. Kai vs Daichi round 2, its so short, but so beautiful Kai and Hiro outplayed each other there.
6. The Civil War between Zero's Team and the WBBA vs the DNA bladers storming the main arena at the start of the lost episodes.
7. The Civil War between everyone on and not on Ziggurat's side in New York City where Daimen SUMMONED HELL IN MY HOMETOWN. You'd think a lot of people would get sucked in.
8. Daigo vs Joshua....former should've won, but he did his best
9. Ken vs Lui. Its' the only Lui match pre semi finals where he didn't win 4-0
10. Shu vs Lui in season 1. Mostly because of Lui's "It Didn't Burst" face and Shu's Burning Counter Break. Shame he didn't get a bey trainer to look after Spriggan otherwise Shu would've won.
11. Valt vs Shu in season 1. Just seeing True Flash Rush Shoot in action.
12. Valt vs Quon. The Death...Jet Shoot was great.
13. Kenny vs Tala because reasons.
14. The rematch between Fubuki and Suoh
15. XHAN GOT A POINT OFF PHI!

I’d add Kai vs Zeo only because of how absurd things got. Like they ended up flying out of the stadium onto the coach/referee’s table, the stadium, and destroyed one of tv’s stadiums! How crazy fun did the animators have making the original trilogy.
