Hey, guys, I read through Mc Frown's How to Write a Draft That Doesn't Suck: A Guide and some Ray Unicorno articles and decided to create my own Ray Unicorno draft. This is my first time doing something like this, so constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. So, without further ado, here goes nothing!

BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS

Name Change:
Ray Unicorno was renamed Ray Striker for the Hasbro release.

Face: Unicorno
The Face depicts Monoceros, the unicorn, one of the 88 constellations in space.

Clear Wheel: Unicorno
Unicorno is a transparent, teal-green with three golden notches each resembling the horn of a unicorn. Since Unicorno is three-sided, it has good synergy with three-sided metal wheels like Ray and Hell.

Metal Wheel: Ray
Ray has a three-winged design with two square indents on each wing and protrusions between each wing, providing Smash Attack. Each protrusion has a flat front with a tip with a slight upward slant on the end. While Ray provides an adequate amount of Smash Attack, other wheels such as Lightning and Vulcan outclass the Ray wheel.

MOLD VARIATIONS
The original mold of Ray, found in the starter pack of Ray Unicorno D125CS, had breakage problems and was eventually rectified by the second mold, which is found in every other release of the Ray wheel.

Use in Attack customizations
Ray can still be used in the customization Ray Unicorno 100RF/R2F

Track: Defense 125
Defense 125 is a standard 125 with the addition of a plastic ring around it. The purpose of the ring is to absorb hits from low attackers and to increase weight. However, due to the 125 height, it rarely comes in contact with an opposing bey. D125 was initially used in top-tier Defense and Stamina customizations, but has since been outclassed by the likes of GB145 and R145. But it is useful in attack customizations as a mid-height Track.

Use in Defense customizations
If the aforementioned parts aren't available, D125 can be seen as an adequate replacement Track in the customization MF-H Basalt Bull D125RS

Use in Attack customizations
D125 is the staple track in the customization MF Gravity Perseus D125RF

Bottom: Coat Sharp
CS, as its name implies, is a Sharp Bottom coated with rubber. The pointed tip allows for little friction between CS and the stadium. This allows for little loss of spin velocity. The rubber grips the stadium when off-balance, giving it Defensive attributes. When launched on the outer section of the stadium or with a Banking Shoot, the Bottom obtains more traction against the stadium giving it a fast and powerful Attack movement similar to an RF or an R2F Bottom. The versatility of this bottom is what gives it rightful place in top-tier Attack and Defense customizations.

Use in Attack customizations
CS is put to good use in the customization Quetzalcoatl CH120CS
Use in Defense customizations
CS is also put to good use in the customization MF/MF-H Basalt Kerbecs/Aquario/Bull 230/BD145CS

MOLD VARIATIONS
The Hasbro CS has been shown to be more aggressive than its TAKARA-TOMY counterpart. This can be due to the smaller plastic portion in the Bottom.

Other versions:
Ray Unicorno D125CS Aurora Version (Clear parts, purple Ray wheel)
Burn Unicorno SW145JB- Random Booster Vol. 5 (Orange)
Poison Unicorno 130HF- Random Booster Vol. 5 (Yellow)
Ray Striker D125CS- Hasbro Faceoff pack (Painted parts, green)

Overall:
Ray Unicorno is mainly comprised of top-tier parts. Ray has found its way into the top-tier Destabilizer part list. D125 has been found as the staple track for mid-height Attack customizations, while CS is used in the top-tier Defense part list. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade

I need some help with the weights of each part, BTW!!
uh there a should be something in that defense combination MF/MF-H Basalt Kerbeck/Aquario/Bull BD145 CS
OK, I'll do that if it's neccessary.
Also i think you should Add the BB Number in the Draft
Unicorno needs to be expanded a lot. Missing a period at the end of the only sentence too. Mention the (now outclassed) combo Ray Unicorno 100RF/R2F. Talk about how since it is 3-sided, it has good synergy with 3 sided Metal Wheels like Ray and Hell. See the Hell Kerbecs article on Beywiki to see what I'm talking about.
Thanks, Ga'Hooleone. Is that all you want me to add?
Has anyone ever tested your CS attack combo?

I know Quetz CH120CS was one, but I've never seen this one...

look around next time.
I'm going to ask Kei if he or I should put up his entire revamp of the old article.
If it helps, I'll change it to Quetz. I read through some other Unicorno articles, which had Quetz Ch120CS, and someone mentioned a better one is the Vulcan combo.
@ Dan Well, I wanted to try my own Unicorno attempt. I saw more than one Basalt Horogium article attempts and thought it'd be okay to make my own Unicorno.
The others are a lot better. Try an easy article for your first one. And possibly one that no has already got a draft for.

In other cases thats fine, but that article is virtually done.
Check at what stages other articles of the same bey are at next time.
Yeah, unfortunately Dan and Ultrablader are correct. I'll have to close this, but thanks for the effort Coasters "R" Us! Smile
