Everyone should be at least a little familiar with the X-Men seeing as how much different media they've crossed over into (movies, television shows, etc) So I was wondering who everyone's favorite member is, you can also list members of X-Factor and X-Force because I consider them to be basically the same thing, but please don't say you like Wolverine because he's a badass. Give everyone a logical response to why that certain character is your favorite.
I'll start out:
1. Bobby Drake "Iceman" - Easily my favorite one, I don't think people really give him credit on how strong he really is. First off, he's an OMEGA LEVEL MUTANT, his powers go far beyond just generating cold. As he's proven, he's more immortal than Wolverine is, he's been able to rebuild his body back from just a head. As long as there is moisture, he can do anything, and the vast majority of our planet is covered by water. He can use his powers to freeze the blood in peoples veins, HE'S A MONSTER. He froze the hell out of Legion who was another Omega Level Mutant. Hated how he was played as a young kid in the X-Men movies because he was one of the original 5.
2. Scott Summers "Cyclops" - Awesome character, the original leader and the best one. Hate how he is this chump who loses all the women to Wolverine outside of comics when he got more tail than anybody in the comics, natch. And his new X-Force was so awesome. Imagine this, X-Men KILLING PEOPLE, and yeah they killed Apocalypse too. Really bums me out how he plays second fiddle to Wolverine in the movies.
3. Alexander Summers "Havok" - Like his power a little bit better than Cyclops', how he shoots it out of his hands instead of eyes. His name is awesome, and his suit has TRON LINES.
So please I'd love to hear who everyone's favorite X-Member is!
To be honest I cannot really choose.
I love all of them in their own special way.
I know this is going to sound really carppy but, I like Gambit because he is a total bad carp.
He makes cards into fire and looks totally awesome. I also think Wolverine is A BIT too overated.
i a;so really like scott summers and forgot ina Disney XD show about X-men there was a fire person i like him alot too because of FIRE MADNESS there was a girl fire sister too i believe
I liked quiksilver but that is just a personal bias i have. I like heroes with super fast powers. Like the flash. I guess I'm fond of them because it is a power that i wish i could have. That and flying :p
Ps i hope you weren't limiting the list to just the x-men team but the whole marvel universe.
Nightcrawler FTW. Also, Iceman, Juggernaut, Storm, Gambit and Archangel are pretty cool. I just really like all of these characters personalities and powers. But I do like every X-Man, exept maybe Beak.
i personaly like nightcrawler if you cant touch me you cant win lol.

The thread's title is "Favorite X-Men" not "Favorite Marvel Character".
It's clearly only referring to characters that appear in X-Men comics.
I like Havok for the reasons heavyarms posted and I like Beast because he has blue fur! Just kidding I like him because he has my favorite super power.
You have to realize the movies are all about popular characters, that's why they focused on Wolverine. While not the leader, he's essentially the mascot of the X-men. As A kid I liked Cyclops and Woverine equally but Gambit was always my favorite. At the time I didn't understand the concept of accents, but I thought Gambit sounded coot. His card tricks had me stunned and amazed, and the staff was crazy. He seemed like the most powerful X-men just because of his sheer number of abilities.
Wolverine is a close second because I love just about anything with claws. Wolverine is a an awesome character because he can be funny and focussed. You don't see that a lot in kids shows, it's usually one extreme or the other. Also his regenerative powers are amazing, but I wasn't aware of them until the first X-Men Movie.
Cyclops the leader of the X-Men CAN SHOOT FREAKING LAZER BEAMS FROM HIS EYES! How could you not like that power? He was always awesome, if he also had Havok's powers the world would end. He was always a great leader and despite the arguments with Wolverine, I like their team work.
Nightcrawler is just awesome. The original teleporting mutant! Why has this power become so
common in the movies? I loved him in X-Men Evolution. He's generally funny, and did I mention he telepeppers? I love how his power actually had a logical limitation(if he can't the destination he can't teleport there).
hmmm..i would love the son of Mystic..forget the name...ahh...The nightcrawler...he looks so demonic and full of chaos..he has a nice move..the best part is that he can apparate with a 'puff' sound...(in cartoons and games)
Nightcrawler is my favourite. I just like how he teleports like that and he has a cool tail

Magneto's powers are FTW, and Gambit is pretty awesome. I don't think he gets enough credit.
Ialso like Banshee now. A Irish harowin stoner who shouts really loud and glides.
GO CYCLOPS! The laser powers are awsome. He's totally cool when he actully wants to take off the glasses and go full power. Iceman will always be my fav. I just love ice.
I've actually been told i look exactly like Gambit but without the tramp clothes, so i guess i kinda have to say he's my favourite! but yeah i do the same sort of things, i do the martial arts with the staffs or bo's
It's hard to choose one but I really love Mystique *-* Envy sign and identity desorder hell yeah!

People have caught Nightcrawler many times but you must have forgotten about not being able to touch ShadowCat !!! FTW My fav is probably Rogue if I met her I would give her a hug... high fi... handsha... a thumbs up lol but in Xmen Evolution how she took peoples powers instead of killing them was still pretty beast
Haha from the evolution my 2nd favorite was Juggernaut. The best line by far:
*In the fight scene on Alcatraz, Kitty pulls him into the ground* Juggernaut: Do you know who I am? (Kitty looks up) I'M THE JUGGERNAUT B!%*#! *Jumps up out of the rubble*. I found that part really lulz worthy, for some reason.
But still, my favorite was Warren Worthington. It was interesting to see him as an X-Man at the end of the movie, as opposed to being a neutral mutant. Besides, in a way he reminds me of the Maximum Ride series...

Love this entire cast but Michael Fassbender delivers the best performance with an amazing presence and command of the screen. Everyone was extraordinary. What many expected indeed happens. By that I mean every scene that Fassbender and McAvoy are in together absolutely sing. It won't surprise anyone to know that Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt and Jennifer Lawrence are superb in supporting roles but Nicholas Hoult did stunning work as the Beast and deserves some love as well.
