Questions allowed? Which would be better and easier to use, XP or VX? I am a newbie with XP and VX. I don't know how to use them, a beginner guide please.

Hmm, this is really a question of how good you are, but i find VX personally the best, it offers a lot more options and is more up to date than XP, i personally found XP harder to use, also look in the main post for links to different guides, if you want to use VX i highly recommend the guide i provided, it offered me a lot of help.

Well, im not an Expert, but im pretty good.
i used to LOVE rpg maker, about 12 years ago! It was great, havent tried it now since they changed how the program actually functions, especially on older machines, it was frustrating when the only sprite I could produce in-game was a hand that looked like thing from the addams family. Maybe i'll give it another shot!

Id reccomend it, the model is a lot different from the original rpg maker, and a lot easier to use, sprite making is also a lot easier.
