This is my new musical outlet, under the name There Will Come Soft Rains. I'm taking a stylized approach with this one, with the theme of nuclear devastation and fallout. The introduction to my four song EP is done, though it's not completely in the genre I'm going for. Try and listen to it with good bass speakers/headphones, the drums are very powerful. The next song (untitled for now) will add the acoustic guitar to the mix. It will be techno beats and synths with acoustic guitar as the lead, with a lot of punk influence. Think NIN meets Box Car Racer.

That sounds cool,Evan Grin
Thanks, I think it fits fairly well with a nuclear explosion. Kinda the events leading up to it (synth lead), the actual explosion (the drum fill), the aftermath (the squeaky part), and trying to survive (ending).
Sounds cool.....clicked on the link and my computer kinda died - along with my ears because I didn't realise I had the volume on full XD - but I'll have a listen later when I'm not so sleepy. :3

Plus, RE: Random thoughts, you are forgiven. XD *hug*
Oh yea, word of warning to people. THE SYNTH HAS VERY HIGH TREBLE, so be prepared
HOLY *CARP* THAT WAS LOUD! Sorry I thought it was going to be quiter...Nice Song XD
Btw, the treble is high!
I have a remix done, which has another instrument added, and got the treble and volume turned down on the intro. I might upload it

EDIT:

I have uploaded two more songs, under the album "N-Sides". One is a remix of The Aftermath, and another is called Launch.
that..was pretty cool Smile
but there are some things I'd change.
not sure if its personal preference or criticism though :\

This basicly^^ IDK on specifics, though.
yeah..like, if you are simulating a nuclear explosion, aftermath, ect
i would have picked a different synth or something.
something a lot deeper ? im not really sure

listen to lost in the sound of seperation by underoath,
that CD is full of good electronic stuff that details what I mean
For such dark subject matter the song sure is awfully upbeat. :\

I'M GONNA KILL YOU
I'M GONNA BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF LIKE RASPBERRY JAM
^ hahahaha

Strange way of proving your point, but honestly music without lyrics totally depends on its atmosphere and tones to get its message across.

A song with vocals can be polarized with upbeat music and downtrodden or depressing lyrics, its actually become quite a trend these days, but a song without vocals really doesn't have that luxury.
wasn't really trying to prove any point, haven't even listened to this

Yeah, Underoath definitely shows that kinda stuff (I luv them).
The nuclear stuff kinda came after, it gave off that feeling to me. I guess everyone varies on what they hear.

I have another demo in the works right now, this will have some actual instruments in Tongue_out
Can't wait to hear it =)

Once I get more of the synth done, it'll be up. I have the main riff (sound verrryyyy AVA) and the "verse" parts done on guitar.
Update:

Untitled New Song: I haven't gotten that far with it, finished the synth and main riff. There have been a lot of changes with the riff

There Is - Box Car Racer: Finished, but I might hold off releasing this one. I just can't get the sound right, though the people I've shown it too have loved it....but I'm not feeling it.

The Adventure - Angels & Airwaves: Yet another cover, currently layering the guitars...mixed results.

I Miss You - Blink-182: Finished, yet the guitar was way too low. I'm having trouble doing this one in four-track, so once I get some mics I'll redo it. Sounds awesome though.
Show tonight, and it will be recorded. There is a version of "The Adventure Live" up from a session I had with a bunch of friends, but it will be replaced tonight.

The Adventure Live and No It Isn't Live will be up tonight ^^
Kool, i'll be listening. =)
