I can do that with Hell BD145CS, but I haven't tried Basalt yet. It's simple. Basalt bounces off the rubber out of the stadium, right? Sorry if this is wrong. It has been a while since I've seen Dan's explanation. 20% is just to keep it under control, right?
Busalt's recoil is kind of low so the chances of it bouncing off rubber out of the stadium is low.

:\
I don't those KO's were the rubber, I think it was Meteo's great attack power.

...which comes from the rubber and the fact that it's left spin.
Dan, when are you going to make a video of you launching Maximum Meteor? I tried to Tornado Stall, haha, seems it will go in the middle early then i expected lol. I think it would benefit many of us who is trying to use this combo, better still master it.
How about just how to master an XF in general? It's the only reason why my special Attack combo doesn't work.
Dan has said that it would likely be pointless, as a lot of it is just experimentation with what works best. It's hard to master because different opponents require different launches. For example, against BasaltBD145, launching at 20% works well for me, but 50% doesn't work.

Azlan, are you sure? I find it super-easy to take out basaltbd145 with this. Try launching weaker, like, 20%.

XF is something to master for sure but you can't just have mastered XF for this combo.
I was talking about making that the subject for the video, since that is really the only thing that people seem to have trouble with. I can barely keep a grip on my MF Vulcan Pegasis III 85XF, it keeps slamming into the walls.

Obviously you need more control.
.....That's why I'm asking for a vid on how to control it. Tired
Okai guise over this long weekend I'll show you in video format, with the stylings of AzlanSlayer, but he doesn't know that yet.

I'll do it when I get time (which won't be in while) k.Tongue_out_wink
Leave that to me guys, I'll get Azlan to make it all pretty and I'll show a couple launching techniques in action. What combination should MM battle?

Your combo your choice. Oh and if Azlan isn't available you can get me to edit it.
Dan, If you can manage all three, MF-H Basalt ___ BD145CS (or MB if you really want, though CS is more common and IMO better for most purposes), MF-H Basalt ____ 230CS, and a common attack combo (LT or LLD or one of the newer 4D attack combo's). That'd probably cover most people's issues, I'd think?

Also use DH.

Why would he even waste time doing that? LT murders it and MM would have NO problem outspinning it.
Whats DH? http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%...qBp_0r8Fc0 here is my shooting stuff. Alot of draws. Unedited btw

No need for dh, RS vs XF is no contest. Just tornado stall. There's no need for a vid, at least. I'm too ill to do reliable testing right now, but if someobe who can reliably tornado stall wants to test it, I'm sure that'd be enough.

For anyone having trouble tornado stalling, straight shoot hard into the tornado ridge, with a little practice you'll nail it.

Also, I believe if you're launching hard and want to hit something to ko or destabilise before stalling, I believe you need to just bank ibstead of slide shooting, though my memory could be messed up Confused
I believe that MF LLD85XF have somewhat similar to Dans MM. And yes I've mastered XF. Will try to post soon.
Make sure to test against MF(-H?) Hell Kerbecs 230CS and MF-H Basalt Aquario/Kerbecs/Bull 230CS. The ability to change heights is hugely beneficial to this combo, though the rubber's greater traction against 230 could help.
I'll do this over the weekend. Azlan, mind editing? Makin' it fancy.
