Ok Well I just Heard About A new Law there thinking of Putting Up in Japan For Anime What The Law says Is That Animes Cant Have (sexual content,Gore,Violence,Adult Content, etc.) What you Think should this Law Be Or Not Be why?
Anime without blood, gore, violence, adult content and sexual scenes can't even be considered anime to me. That's what anime is all about, is it not?

What the hell! If they make a new DB series and this law passes what will it be about? Making friends. This law is garbage!
i understand sexual content and a little of adult content (just minor should be allowed) but violence as long is there not goin to terrify and destroy kids and their dreams we need it
I have found very few info of that online, so I'm not certain if it's actually true...
But assuming it is, they just can't limit everything that's shown on TV. Maybe the more ridiculously gory, violent, massacre anime, like what you'd see in Higurashi, but people will quickly go nuts if all they watch all day is Caillou.
I mean think about it, there's violence and sexual themes in every anime. Taking all that stuff away would probably cause rebellions of epic proportions. Don't they have better things to worry about, anyway, with the tsunamis and radiations and other very sad events?
If this happens then HOLY CARP If not then Wtf.....why would they even make a law such as this, what are they saying, no one can ever have Blood and gore on tv again?!?!

Beyblade has violence. It even has sexual scenes in it (Kenny and his laptop...)

Stuff like that is usually only on DVD. So I don't think a parent will buy something like that for their kid...

I'm sure that the kids wouldn't be watching the anime in the first place if they didn't know some of the typical things associated with an anime. But violence? Really, Japan? Really? Anime isn't anime without violence, that's stupid as hell. And Dude, I used to watch Caillou when I was 6, that show was cool. XD

This is true. What will they interpret as violence or adult content? For all we know pokemon could be considered violent because they are fighting each other.

I lol'd when I saw this.
I mean I understand why they would want a law banning sexual content and adult content from anime, but why violence? Without violence then some of the most successful anime's in Japan would be banned, E.G Pokemon, Highschool of the dead, Vampire Knight etc... Without Violence we would be stuck with crappy love anime's like Kimino Todoke (I think that's how you spell it). It wouldn't make sense for them to do that because they would just have a bunch of unhappy kids and teenagers on their hands.

I completely disagree with this new law, I mean anime is like where alot of violence happens So if they took that away, I guess it would lose viewership by the dozen. And how are you going to watch Vampire Knight without the blood and what would happen to Bleach, would Ichigo stop being a Soul reaper due to the religous refrences.My point is :What would anime be like if this happened!!
