First, there was G1. Afterwards, Japan made their own take on the series, such as Headmasters and such. Then there was Beast Wars and Beast Machines, Transformers: Robots in Disguise (remember two-headed dragon Megatron?), and then the Transformers Armada, Energon, and Cybertron Trilogy series.

After that, Michael Bay took a stab at Transformers with two movies and a third soon to be in theaters, and finally, Transformers: Animated, which became a popular hit in Japan when it was redubbed into Japanese (with shiny new transformation sequences =D).

As of last November or December, Transformers now has a new television series on The Hub, a channel network that took over Discovery Kids or something, called "Transformers: Prime." It sports a mix of Bayformers and Animated styled Transformers in complete CG animated episodes. Peter Cullen returns to reprise his famous role as Optimus Prime, the one TRUE Optimus Prime. Not Beast Wars' Optimus Prime in the Trilogy, or Animated's Optimus Prime. Peter freakin' Cullen.

Has anyone watched/been watching this series? If you wish to find old episodes, there's either YouTube, or I can direct you to a site that has them.

Also, one last thing. (Click to View)
Also, another thing. If there are any oldies out there, The Hub ALSO shows episode of the G1 series. Check your local listings.
I gave up on this show. It's been so rinse and repeat it's not even worth watching.
I think it's worth watching for the action. I believe it's pretty good, except for the human characters..............
Between the two sets of humans, I didn't know who I hated more. The kids of Armada, Energon, and Cybertron (well, Lori I love to death), or the Prime kids. Jack is just a bunch of teenage angst to me...

I think my MOST favorite part of this series is the potential army-building this show has for its products. I'm just DYING for the Vehicons (the nameless Decepticon army of drones) in toy form! I'm gonna have, like, 20 of them. Seriously, they make awesome comic material.

But lastly, as a Decepticon supporter, bringing back Frank Welker REALLY made me wet my pants. Peter Cullen, since the 80s, STILL sounds the same as Optimus. But Welker's voice, while still raspy, REALLY brings out the menacing threat that Megatron truly poses, even though his voice got older and thus deeper. I prefer Welker over Beast Wars' and the Unicron Trilogy Megatron (the Master of Yeeeeesssssss), and DEFINATELY over Animated....and Bayformers.
