As for her two-hit kill attack, it can be used throw the Circle button, which makes her do a dash that puts the...butterfly/flower/thing on ennemis she touches and you can just turn around to do the second strike again. Although, after that your Spiritual Energy bar is empty so you have to wait for it to fill again (Around seven seconds of wait) so the best thing to do is to use Suzumebachi on as many ennemies as possible in two strikes and just pound the remaining ennemies after that.

I'm not really sure why they didn't keep the original song, maybe it's a licensing problem, but the instrumental isn't bad anyway.

Also, it's very hard to get good results, on levels. Yes, you're pretty much given grades (C, B, A or S) for how good you were at a stage or mission. The characters will say comments on those grades, too, like, if you get a B with Rukia, she'll say "Meh, I guess that's okay." or a C with Ichigo, he'll say "I can do better than that!" I think you basically have to kill all the appearing
ennemies and not...well, die, to get a good score, I'm not sure.

So essentially if you can dodge quickly you can make Soi Fon invincible and consistently get two hit kills? That sounds like a method to getting A's frequently. Unless of course it takes too much time to try that strategy. 7 seconds isn't very long, but over time I could see that causing an issue.
Ennemies stack up pretty fast in a row (Idiots) so yeah, if you position yourself right, you can pretty much kill any regular ennemies in two hits. It'll deplete your Spiritual energy, but who cares, it comes back naturally.

This is especially pleasant when facing huge hollows, like Menos Grande and just killing it in two hits (A process that would normally take a many more hits)

EDIT: Also, Barragan's special Ignition attack, Respira, is pretty much an instant-kill move (Since, like in the manga, it rots anything it touches) it probably isn't really, but if you don't have a lot of health, you're a goner. So when he goes in his Ignition mode, I'd recommend just insanely circling him in an attempt to avoid his Respira, when he releases it.
Now thinking, it probably would have been a better idea to use chAnge as the opening music, it ties into the aspect of fighting more than Melody of the Wild Dance.

On a side note, doesn't Barragan's released form also rot anything that makes physical contact with him? Or is it just when he unleashes his Respira?

Is there a multiplayer mode? If there is just a story/mission mode, it would be decent, but considering how the game looks, it would be very fun to go against other people.
Well yeah, Barragn is supposed to rot anything he touches, but...c'mon, that would pretty much make him unbeatable (The way they defeated him in the manga was pretty much carp, anyway) so he doesn't rot anything that touches him, though he can form some sort of dark-purple mist around him that deflects anything (Seriously, anything. Don't use the missile when he uses that, it won't do a thing)

As for Multi-Player, I think there's an option for that called "Soul Attack", but I'm not certain, as I haven't tried it out, yet, right now, I'm just having fun listening to dubbed lines from the anime that aren't out yet :p
Just finished Story Mode. The final battle against Aizen (Not really sure this is a spoiler...) is awesome. It's both challenging and fun. You take control of Ichigo's pre-Mugetsu form and killing regular ennemies is now so easy is laughable. Ennemies that aren't killed in a single slash can be taken down with Ichigo's special attack (Activated through the Circle button) which is kind of a blue-ish, black Getsuga Tensho dash. Aizen is in his crazy demonic form with the big wings with eyes on 'em and, if you're not careful, he can easily kill. You can't damage Aizen when he's not doing anything, because he'll just...kinda teleport to the side in a cool effect, so you have to wait for him to attack you, somehow. Johnny Yong Bosch really surprised me by pronouncing Mugetsu like a Japanese would.

All in all, great game. I certainly don't regret my purchase, especially since there's still a ton of missions to do. They start having weird conditions, now, like one where everyone dies in a single hit, including you or another where the Ignition meter is locked. Still cool, though.
Hey there, me again XD

So, after having given a rest to this game, playing a few other games in the meantime (Catherine, Limbo, El Shaddai, inFAMOUS 2 and so on) I started completing the missions again, which I still haven't finished.

The later missions of Mission Mode (Duh) start having ridiculous conditions. I don't mind things like time limits, spiritual energy that doesn't regenerate etc. but some missions are just ridiculous. There's a mission that has instant-death hits on both sides That could be fun, but there's around a million people trying to kill you and you're all alone! Even worst, at the end of some stages, instead of finding only one boss, you'll sometimes find two! (Kenpachi & Nnoitra or Halibel & Toshiro) That wouldn't be so bad, but it gets hard, having to look out for two opponents at the same time!

Speaking of bosses, the game surprised the hell outta me by having one of the bosses be Komomura. Really, Komomura's in the game with his big samurai giant 'n all. He's not playable, but he's there.

Wonder what other surprise they have in stock...
