Only Mudkip in that evolutionary family learns hydro pump, and at level 42. Swampert learns Muddy Water in its place. But otherwise, Swampert should be fine since it is also in the 'Water 1' egg group.
And thank you, [][][][][]

Well, I did say I wasn't done training yet. Soon, I will be ready for 3 v 3 battles! I just need to actually get a Chandelure with good IV's for once... I know, sorry. But the first time I beat you, it was legit, no? I only used Volcarona and my unfinished Darmanitan.

I think that it only counts when you battled. Did giigman become a leader or what?
Apr. 10, 2011 10:09 PM
ur good ,well ya wouldnt be in the elite 4 if u werent, nice game anyway
Apr. 10, 2011 10:12 PM
Thanks. My Volcarona is probably my favorite. gg, you're pretty good too. Do you use a Regenerator Mienshao with U-turn and Drain Punch, by any chance? And I think you could switch Emboar for Infernape, Infernape is loads better...

Good job! Just get bladerxack to update the OP, and then it would be official! And I also sent some reminders to |Joe| and Ichiro about their reservations.

If it has Regenerator (which it definitely should, check this set) use this set. And I recommend delving into the finer aspects of competitive battling like EV training and breeding and such, I posted an EV training guide on the last/second to last page, check it out. But here is a good set, courtesy of smogon.com:
All-Out Attacker (Click to View)
move 1: Hi Jump Kick
move 2: U-turn
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Fake Out / Stone Edge
item: Life Orb
nature: Naive / Hasty
ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
-Hi Jump Kick is the main attack, dealing severe damage to anything that does not resist it.
-U-Turn provides scouting opportunities and also heals Mienshao as it switches out.
Hidden Power Ice almost always OHKOs Gliscor after Stealth Rock and always OHKOs after switch in to Hi Jump Kick.
-Stone Edge is mainly filler as Mienshao has no other viable offensive options.
-Life Orb is used to provide the most damage output.
-Stone Edge can be replaced with Fake Out for some free damage.
-The given ev spread with a Naïve nature and Life Orb are to ensure the OHKO on Gliscor after a switch-in to Hi Jump Kick.
-A Hasty nature can also be used, the difference is negligible.
-An alternate ev spread of 160 Atk / 96 SpA / 252 Spe can be used to always ensure the OHKO on Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice.

move 1: Hi Jump Kick

move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Stone Edge
item: Choice Scarf / Choice Band
nature: Naive / Hasty
ability: Regenerator
evs: 252 Atk / 24 SpA / 232 Spe
-Choice Band grants Mienshao with immense attacking power right off the bat while a -Choice Scarf allows it to outspeed threats and KO or do some damage with a fast U-turn.
-Hi Jump Kick and Stone Edge provide phenomenal coverage and U-turn rounds out that coverage as well as providing scouting opportunities.
-Regenerator only makes this set better by restoring Mienshao’s HP as it switches out. -In conjunction with U-turn, this makes for a perfect combination of move and ability.
-A Naïve or Hasty nature should be used with Hidden Power Ice.
-Max speed should be used when running Choice Band to tie with Zoroark and other Pokemon with 105 base Speed.
