Not really much to this thread, but after seeing the Mathematics thread, it looks like we have some geniuses here on the WBO! So, what do you excel in? Are you in any advanced courses?
I got Principal's List every quarter since I came to this school (above 90s in every class). Also got a 99 in Algebra, which I think is a first, considering half of my class always fails that class. Well, my school (being the sucky school it is) doesn't allow grades to be skipped. But, I took my SAT's in the 7th grade and did okay. -__- I'm also at the top of my class, so yeah. I know, not much, but...
So, what have you done?
I made Honor roll 1st Q and 3rd Q Im a smartie at
Math
English
History
Science(SoSo)
Making the honor roll is the best feeling in the world! Thanks to my teachers who helped me =)
Last year I got straight A's in Algebra and English. That's definitely not a easy task to complete. I don't think I could do that again....ever.
Edit:Also last year was my fist year in honors.
I am in what's called 'intensive french'
It's basically just in elementary school, for half of a year, it's all in French. Then for the other half we start where the rest of the grade would.
It was like that in grade 5 and 6.
Grade 7 to now is just French class. But ours was different from normal French. We focused on talking, normal focussed on writing.
I failed my final exam last year
But this year I have 76%
So not an overachiever, ahah, but I did a 'bonus' program
I filled out an application for advance Language Arts for my first year of high school. I think I'll get in
I just need to hear back and see if I made it.
After all, I should get in. I'm related to Walt Whitman, aren't I?
As Nano might know, I was Rank 1 in the system last year in 8th Grade
I'm one the best in English, Music, Science, IST and breaking my ankle in two places at Camp XD. LOL. No seriously.
I made 1st in honor roll all my years in school. I'm currently in Grade 5 (5th Grade is what you call that..I think.)
I also join in Math competitions. We rank 5th or 4th place normally. (I bet.. Wihtout me, they can't do anything..LOL..Just kidding..I'm just the 2nd useful member in the team...I NEVER get excluded in the contest.

art was my section but i did surprisingly well in English....i don’t quite know how but i did. i would of made it to the "ADVANCED" art classes if i didn’t decline them due to my parents deciding art was the work of the devil in my senior year.
i got A's in Spanish.......now i cant remember one word. LOL. bad memories. but in my Jr high school year i did get some gold and silver stamped papers of honors. it was kind of weird.
Got 96% last year, got 99.6% this year. In the earlier years, I got grades, all of them were A+.
Straight A+'s for 3 years and counting, 2 grades ahead in math, 1 grade ahead in English, skipped a grade too. All Honors classes (including advanced ones: 11H Math/Precalculus and 10H English), always on High Honor Roll, and my parents take this as 'expected'. No congratulations or anything. -sigh-
Do 4 clubs, Debate, Academic Team (captain of JV and I'm the youngest there XD), Science Olympiads, and Cricket Intramurals (WOO! CRICKET! CHAK DE INDIA!). Also I'm very good in sports despite my knowledge. Unlike kids in CTY and LISG, I taught myself, was already somewhat of a genius to begin with, and got bumped up through the public school system, which no one before me has ever done. I have a lot more I could say, but I'll finish with this: 2250 on the SAT in 8th grade and all activity badges and possible badges for WeBeLoS (Cub Scouts-->Boy Scouts) done by 5th grade.
I guess you could call me an overachiever. XD But I'm not trying to show off, and I don't mean to sound like I'm not a modest person, I'm just doing what this thread says to do. I'm really a nice person in real life.
This just seems like a big "brag about myself" thread.
No not really it's a thread about acheivements made. Im sure people want to be acknowledged for their hard work. dont take it the wrong way buddy :-)
I used to make all A's and occassionally a B or two. I can still do that easily, I just never turn in my homework. xD I also have never missed a single day of school since Kindergarden, and I used to make honor roll almost every year up to about 6th or 7th grade.
unlike most of you im in year 7 easy and got all the marks in all my tests so far in maths georgrafy history and science

Worst of all it is mostly coming from people who can bearly typ proparly. 99% in english, you say? Internet: harboring liars since 1989. (WWW in '93, but whatever.)
Back when I was in school, I made it a point to not do my homework because I thought it was pointless when I clearly understood what was going on in class.
In Beyblade, I don't practice and still think I can win a tournament (and never do).

Im computer lab I am the only one able to use a computer..... (they are SO pathetic)
and I never study for quizzes and ace them.

Anyways, I sort of do Over Achieve. I excel in Math.

lol im better at math and science i got 100% of math test finals correct but in reading and language arts i stink

i have a great grasp on the english lanuage ofen explaining thing in a more avanced wording then is nesacary ofen i do this when i get ecited and my friends are like what???
