Is anyone really "pissed off" by the fact that their making a new season of beyblade but making it completely different? New characters, story, etc. I personally loved the old characters and always have. Now they made this terrible little 6 year old kids version of the show. I wish they made a continuation of the old one cause im 16 years old and am not going to watch this little kid version. To me, it ruined beybladeing. Anyone else agree
How has it ruined Beyblade? New characters? It's pretty easy to get over it. The game is still the same, with slight alteration on the performance of the blades.

I will admit I'd rather see Takao Aoki's series continue, with the children they showed in the final chapter of the manga...but I'm fine with it Tongue_out
me too but we got try something new so we need to get over it
HELL NO, you need to move on and be happy with the fact that they brought beyblade back at all. The old characters/story were/was getting quite stale anyways. The characters were really generic, too. MFB, IMO, is the best series so far.

I really would liked to have seen what happened to the kids as they grew up. I think Takara actually tried to work with Takao Aoki, but he refused it. There's no evidence of this...but I would think Takara would like it's older fans to be able to connect with the new series easily, while allowing new fans to jump right in
We have had this topic a few times now. The outcome is normally a resounding 'get over it'. :\

I'll admit I wouldn't have minded them to continue with the old charas but I would have wanted something a bit more mature from them as it would've been boring if it was the same old storyline. I'm thouroughly enjoying the new series though. Plus it's much more beneficial for Takara if they make a completely new show.

Does this thread really need to stay open? ^^;

This is a much older version of beyblade with blades with names that actually make scene a grafity style and well everything.

Well i personally fell in love with the characters. Everything about beyblade was awsome. Now everything is different. I wanted more tyson vs Kai and another world championship

lol i dont even think i can bring my self to watch the little kids version of a great anime. It would bring me to tears not to see kai, tyson max and rai Unhappy
I really think there wasn't much they could have added. I guess they could have had their kids battle, but, IMO, I like the fresh new characters better.
I love how you say Rai not Ray but Tyson not Tako

Beyblade is aimed at male children from ages 7-12. The characters have to be around the same age. If they did continue Takao's story, you'd see Takao, Rei, Kai, and Max guiding their kids like they did in the final chapter of Bakutan Shoot! Beyblade.
We've had this discussion too many times already. Metal Fight Beyblade is a reboot of the Beyblade franchise, so for it to have any ties to the previous generations makes no sense.

Closing this.
