anyone interested in the series? Honestly, the only good games were the ones for the ps1, gba, and ds

Dawn of Sorrow is amazing. The replay value is great =)
I have one thing to say:

You forgot the SNES and the wonderful Super Castlevania IV!

It may not be one of those fancy RPG-hybrid Castlevania games, but its still great!

And you are right. That was good too. I tried it on the GBA (the classic games were remade for the GBA, and I didn't have a SNES) and it reminded me of the Julius Mode in Dawn of Sorrow and Aria of Sorrow Smile
