How about you try this if the first one flops. You shouldn't push in on someone else's idea. It's just not fair to them. Just stop this for now.

I am trying to avoid competition, which leads to SPAM, I know myself what you are experiencing but I is sort of mean to just immediately take his idea. It's 100% fine, but technically not. All I can say is that you will have to make yours way different than his.
