The Harvesting of Beys Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA 10/11/14:

1st- Havoc: MSF-L Orochi Orochi E230RDF, Genbull Dragoon SA165WD

2nd- Kaboom!!!: Flash Dragonis TR145, MSF-M Genbull Goreim SA165W2D

3rd- samuraiifrit321: Genbull Saramanda SA165MB
Interesting- specifically, how did Orochi Orochi and Golem work? We don't see it place too often, so it's pretty cool to see that along with some other more unusual combinations, too.

Very cool. Tongue_out

Thanks Tongue_out I've always used Goreim on that bey. I love that combo so much. aha It's surprisingly helped me beat left spinners in sleep outs at times as well. Havoc's Orochi combo is pretty nice in my opinion. His Orochi and my Goreim were actually paired up. He won 3-2. I believe it was because my W2D was brand new and wasn't worn down enough of.. I'll give him his win/props though. aha
Probably the most use of Goriem and Orojya one will ever see posted in this thread, lol.

Seriously though, how did it manage to do, like what was it able to win against? Definitely very interesting Beyblades, Orojya Orojya E230RDF and Genbull Goreim SA165W2D, along with Genbull Saramanda SA165MB. That in mind, what was that able to win against, as well? As Genbull Saramanda together is definitely an odd choice, SA165MB is even stranger, haha. It definitely didn't do a certain someone good last year.

Glad to see the tournament went well, though!
Cool, to see VA do a tournament since it's been a bit since the last one.

How many people turned up?

We had a tournament last month. aha Before that is when VA died off for a short period.

Do you have the combos that people used for the unofficial Zero-G Limited tournament? I'm more curious to see those. I can imagine there was a lot of L-Drago Guardian F230GCF.

Issue being, we had to leave during the final two rounds, but in the lead- it was me, bullchamp, and Nohzone or Fireblaze, I believe, so I can base some stuff of that. But, before I post them, remember that not many people had Limited stuff on them since we planned on only fitting in one tournament at that point. So if some results are surprising, it's because some people had to put things together on a sudden note.

1st. Leone19 (me): Libra BGrin, Libra F230 CF
2nd. (Not sure who it would have been) Nohzone: Meteo L-Drago Assualt DF105 XF; Fireblaze: Earth Uranus 230 TB
3rd. Bullchamp: Earth Uranus 230 TB (Fireblaze borrowed his)

Libra BGrin was actually really amazing. I preferred it to an extent, considering how light Meteo is and how easily it would be swayed around. I was actually really surprised how well Nohzone's setup did- probably for the reasons I stated above. Not surprised about the final combination, it's a pretty good Stamina setup to begin with, haha.
Kei Wrote:Pretty sure that LMAO used Duo Cancer 230CS, not Duo Horogium 230CS.

Late reply, although I myself do remember it being Horogium, judging that last match LMAO himself wrote it down. This really isn't the biggest of issues, though; Sorry if I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Tongue_out

Kai-V on Loyd87s Winning Combinations Wrote:Genbull Genbull 85BWD

Interesting, I remember The Supreme One testing something along the lines of this back in July. How was it able to do, like what was it able to win against, Loyd?
a simple stamina type with a little LAD. I used it against Kai-V because I thougt she used her Dragoon F230 combo or her Duo SA165 combo so I decided to try it against it but she used Revizer^2 E230CS and I win with my LAD else she beat me 1 or 2 times. I have using a Hasbro Launcher during the tournament so my combo doesn't really do is best.
Here are my winning combinations for Battle Unlimited(Limited Format)
MF-L Duo Cancer 230TB
MF-L Omega Horuseus 85MF/RF
Samurai Balro(Crystal Up)90MF
Leone 90RF

Leone7 will post the other winning combinations(and mine) all at once soon.I placed 3rd in this tournament.
Limited Throwdown
Limited Format

1st: TheBlackDragon

MF-H Omega Horuseus 100RF
Scythe Cancer B : D

2nd: Dark_Mousy

MF-M Libra B : D
Libra B : D
Libra 230D
Scythe Bull 230D

3rd: Thunder Dome

MF-H Libra B : D
Libra 230SD
MF-H Libra CH120RB

This was a really fun tournament! Libra is certainly a force to contend with in NC (although Omega and Scythe made pretty short work of it this time around; makes you wonder how Libra would do if Omega and Scythe were banned).
awsome job to all the placers Wink

It was using the clear Cancer Clear Wheel from RBV6 along with the clear Horogium Face; you/LMAO must have mistaken the Cancer for a Horogium because of the Face. I just checked my video to confirm this. I always use those two together when I use Cancer and a regular Face, so I'm certain that he used Cancer.

Haha, what in the world? That's bizarre. You guys must live in some sort of alternate reality; there's no reason why Libra should be that dominant in terms of Stamina. It makes sense that Scythe was able to take care of it, but what were others using against Libra?
Kei Wrote:What were others using against Libra?

... Libra. XD

Not sure why they used it so much. I think Dark may have just been riding on the success he had at AN. SS1... well, not everything SS1 does really makes much sense, but as far as I know he isn't terribly well informed on Limited, and I'd guess he's probably following Dark's lead. Same thing with Thunder Dome.

Oh, and NC Bladers are also infamous for choosing "pretty" over competitive, and a BB-96 Libra is a fine-looking Wheel. I betcha that's part of it.

In any case, it made the whole thing a heck of a lot easier for me. Joyful_3
For the record my Libra isn't the BB96 Libra. Its one of the heavier libras.
Well he's not wrong I do some crazy stuff in tournaments sometimes. It may work, it may not but I'll never know unless I try.

I used Libra this entire event for the most part. My main combo was MF M/Normal Face Libra BGrin. The reason I chose this was because left spin stuff was goin around that day. And BD counters most spin steal stuff. With Libra BD, I went against Omega___RF , Eartj W145 WD(Won by KO), and Scythe 230 D?.

Yeah, that makes sense. People are definitely influenced by what others are using in their community.

Ah, okay. Interesting. If you're gonna use a Stamina type against Omega, Libra is probabaly what you'd want to use given its weight. Winning the battle against Earth via KO makes sense. Do you remember what the score was?

Cool, how did this manage do, what did it beat or do well against in specific? I remember you mentioning Leone's Attack use to me through Skype at one point, and it got me kinda interested. I feel like it'd have some recoil issues, however. Has anyone else had any other experience at other Limited Format events, though? I think its something that can potentially be looked into furthermore.

Ooohh, I'm actually starting to remember now. My apologies, I'll edit it now, despite how late I am on it, lol.
