Rules Overview:

• There are no banned parts for either system.
  
• When called to battle each blader will present to the judge three (3) burst beyblades and three (3) metal fight beyblades for inspection.
  
• After the judge has confirmed both blader's selection the bladers will set their decks (in secret) in the following order starting at the judge:
  

1. Burst
   
2. Metal Fight
   
3. Burst
   
4. Metal Fight
   
5. Burst
   
6. Metal Fight
   

• Burst will ALWAYS fight burst and metal will ALWAYS fight metal.
  
• You may make any mode changes to your beyblade after both players reveal their combo, turn around and make your changes... that is the time for both bladers to change, any attempt to change after seeing your opponent's mode change is a no-go.
  
• You are allowed only ONE (1) spin direction change PER SYSTEM (So two (2) per match).
  
• If a blader is using a dual spin layer such as Gravity (MFB) or Cho-Z Spriggan (Burst) that can be in either spin direction without being easily identified that blader will show the judge which launcher direction they will be presenting it in before presentation. This is to avoid anyone trying to get two spin changes in one system.
  
• The match will begin with each blader's #1 (Burst) beyblade and end with their #6 (metal fight) beyblade.
  
• Once all six battles have occurred the judge will tally up the score and determine the winner.
  
• Scoring is as follows:
  Burst - KO = 1pt, Spin Finish = 1pt, Burst = 2pts
  MFB - KO = 2pts, Spin Finish = 1pt
  Ties: Two ties = next beyblade, no points awarded

Be careful of bladers using Metal Sharp / doing too much 🤣

Disclaimer: I did not play nor collect MFB prior to participating in tournaments so I have very little knowledge of the part names. If you see any issues with the MFB or Burst part names please let me know so I can make the proper adjustments. Thank you.

Metal sharp can damage BB10 pretty easily too. I've been working on a ban thread for it bc it's such a risk for organisers to have expensive stadiums damaged. Those are pretty deep, I'm curious what was done for them to dig in so hard.

I'm not sure who would unironically use such a bad tip for anything but damaging surfaces so... That's unfortunate to see.

That aside, really cool tournament concept man, interesting to see what was used!

I didn’t see when it happened but I recall my first tournament… I brought that XL TT stadium for some free play and during my match I saw a teenage looking blader launch their blade from a standing position with maximum down pushing force. Luckily they didn’t have a metal driver. Long story short, people don’t care about other people’s property so that could be the case with this stadium.

Do you know if anyone was launching in a way that would cause their beyblade to land harder than normal? I don't think that kind of damage should be possible without using MS on an ultra-heavyweight combo or launching with significantly more downward force than normal. The only other part I can think of that could do something like this would be H145, although that usually tears up the side walls, not the floor...

To summarize the event: Wind and Bearing Drift together seem to be like a free pass for those who do have it and choose to use it as it provides nearly unrivalled same spin and opposite spin performance. The one attendant who left early, letting Kei take his Finals spot, went nearly undefeated by borrowing Kei's Wind Bearing Drift combo (in between using a solid Vanish combo).

While Attack can certainly give it a hard time you need to both play well and get a bit lucky (Wind can sometimes deflect off of corners and save itself from back wall). It is without question the safest meta combo in the DB era, the few good answers to it are either niche/rare or tricky to use. We will need to see mass adaptation to local meta as more and more people are able to run it or it will become a very toxic First Stage environment.

This unparalleled safety is something that has me questioning the Driver's impact on game health. It works similarly well on Vanish Blade. I do not think Wind or Vanish alone are problematic.
