Wait so your saying my Libra combo took after Brad's? Can you send me a link of the archives please?
So I'm like Bey Brad Jr....... o.O
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Libra-CH120RF

Wouldn't go as far to say "jr" since personality wise you are both complete opposites, but definitely resourceful.
Ohh thanks Deikailo! Also I'm going to do a Metagame Project for this thread... I'm planning to continue to use the same Libra combo and use it in tourneys to see if people had like improved from the last tourney*hopefully the same* or just regular people that heard of my combo. And I'll post how it went on this thread
The moment you use any customisation it becomes public knowledge ...
I know that but I want to see how much they know? Yah feelin me dawg?
I doubt I revealed anything Rotation. If you check under your avatar, what does it say? Also the past 2 days you have put "your" combo out in the combination with your tests so... More over I hurt my own self for putting my own combos out there which I have not seen anyone else use or test or revealed....
Yah Feelin me Dawg??
In many matches, i used
Earth Aquila 145 WD

just sayin.
I started to elaborate very different defense shoots (some aimed for the walls, using the opponents recoil plus the wall to creating a bounce effect and ko-ing the attack custom. some were tentatives of predicting your opponent sliding shoot path and avoiding it, and so on)
and if you guys think "your opponent was not good at shooting attack customs" i believe that you don't know one of these two things:
- I'm Italian
or
- How the Italian defense metagame evolved

(in fact, when the best defense bottom was wb, almost nobody had problems cleaning the stadium from campy defense customs xD

before the release of maximum series, there were few impossible matchups.

now, skill counts less in some matchups (230rs combo vs 85rf combo is pretty much an example)

anyway, i see many people here who learn the standard sliding shoot and the standard banking showed in that lesson video, and if they don't win with those shoots, they're done.

Few people can sliding/banking shoot from different positions knowing perfectly what they're doing.

The same goes for bey inclination, people find an inclination that works well, and do not go beyond that.
(an example here can be hell wheel, if you don't know the right inclination to give to hell, you won't see its attack potential at all)

with that said, before the release of maximum series, i managed to know every matchup and how to win it with
MF Gravity Perseus(1st mold) 90 RF.

another thing that you sould note is the fact that rf worns, but it doesn't worn in a single way.
you actually can choose if you want to worn it giving it a shape that favorites its defense, or its pure attack movement, and other goals in a LEGAL way.
it's just the way you shoot it to worn it.

i've seen a lot of people talking of "worn rf" but that's too generic.
Perseus didn't need a particular worn anyway, the only thing you had to watch out for is not losing a simmetrical with good balance shape(also, i don't believe that a too much unbalaced worn rf is legal)
in order to win the match at low rotations, you need a "balanced" rf which gets destabilized very rarely.

i would talk about these things for hours, but yeah, for now it's enough.
i end with this question: do you guys shoot an attack custom aiming the slide path in order to make the first hit send the opposite beyblade to a zone without a wall?
or you just shoot and "hope"?
I definitely agree with you about the release of the maximum series. If 230 was never released, i'd be using lightning ldrago or vulcan all day.
and with your lightning l drago, you could still lose, but if you were actually better than your opponent NO WAY that could happen
now if you decide to go lightning85/90RF, you have to hope that your opponent, even if he/she is a mediocre player,isn't using 230

Haha Yes I feel you xD.
~~~~~
: I banked alot during the tourney but when it came to the Finals. I just had to shoot all out because I was anxious about winning the prize. T_T. If the prize never was in front of my face, I would have focused more on my banking. And yes I aimed at the slide path. I mean thats like the main key of KO'ing your opponet.
i know, but a lot of people just banking/sliding shoot and hope.
still, i was not saying YOU are the one who does not aim it =)
Not necessarily. Maybe it's because I have terrible eye sight, but I can't tell tracks or bottoms when I see combos.
You can't see their colours, or general width?
H145 can't get mixed up with 145
145 can't get mixed up with 85
People can get a general idea of exactly what was used, so I see no point in hiding it.
Unless deikailo is losing her Beyblade "spunk" Wink
I'm not all that good.
I have vision and hearing problems, actually, that have gotten progressively worse over the years. I'll easily confuse an RF with a CS or an F unless I touch it.
I was actually joking on the last part. Wink [wink] [wink]
Even if you confuse rf or cs or F, people can get a pretty good idea of what is being used, as long as they use their brain.
Chances are a rf isn't going to be used on earth, so you can guess that it's a rubber bottom that is similar to rf...CS! Tadah.
I guess I will bite the bullet and reveal my tactics. As was stated majority of top bladers including me will not post tactics or combos as you will lose the element of surprise. I admit I am spoiled as I do have access to a majority if not all the parts. I personally do alot of testing with ALOT of different combinations. Yes I do have some free time even with kids as I did quit World of Warcraft..Anyways I digress...
Going into the last tournament MD I did not know what I would be facing nor how any of the bladers were. I prepare usually with around 6-8 blades against the usual tiers and 1-2 specialty blades against unusual circumstances. A little excessive you say? I learned you can never be too prepared.
Ill just discuss the finals combos as in the qualifying rounds I was messing around and using random stuff.
Match with Rotation:
I consider myself an atk using blader. People I have faced in previous tournaments not counting last tournament see me with a Gravity Perseus ( I thank the Italian metagame for showing me the way much props). Seeing as Rotation used Libra R2F the whole match I was pretty confident he was going to use it again. Infact we did a Stalling Clause and lo and behold there it was on the launcher. Now like I said I do my own personal testing. My combo which I found works GREAT against attackers is:
MF - H Basalt Kerbecs BD145 MB
No one has seen this combo yet I think. It is basically a wall... MB you ask?? well I can go on explaining the mechanics of this but I will leave it to you all to discover its wonder.
Match with Galaxy4ever
Saw he was using attack also so pulled out my Defense Combo also.
Match with Otsu:
I felt I had the advantage. Otsu did not know the previous tourneys but the combo he was using was the same one my son used 2 tournaments prior. So I had extensive testing with it a couple months back. I used a:
MF GravPers(atk Clear Wheel) H145 RF on left spin
The defense combo is pretty much pull and spin. Control of where you want it placed is the key. As far as the Grav Pers. I used Left spin because it will destabilize the 230 if not knock it out. Otsu saw that when even a light tap can put it on its rubber side on the CS and cause a KO. Other then that PM with any questions Ill gladly explain.
lol, basalt bd145 mb, that's the combo i'm playing in tourneys, some people called that "the creepy yami combo" XD
really good man, really good. you have to worn mb a bit in order to make it work and then you'll be save against almost everything(yea mb can actually worn while using basalt)
i think that's actually the best combo in format.
also, toughguy: give the best blader an 85 rf combo and give me a hell230rs combo.
(fake arrogant mode:on for teh lulz ) if that's possiblre and i don't have to play myself (i'm JUST KIDDDING, guys) i will win =P
about the combo: i didn't want people to know what combo i was going to use in our championship finals, so please just wait a second to spread the word.
that combo obtains a ridiculous win % against everytype, KO'ing sd and d staminas(strong inclinated shoot), outspinning WD and defense combos, resisting attack combos (you will not resist if your mb is new and your opponent is actually a good player shooting an attack custom)
That is most heaviest combo here.
it's not a fact of pure weight. try it with rf and it will lose a lot of potential, as well as if you try it with short bottoms, or even hf/s is not that good.
MB can resist attacks thanks to the weight once worn a bit.
basalt lowers opponents rotations in a really devastating way,
and if you banking shoot strongly with MB, you'll even get a movement which can ko stamina combos without having too much issues.
(edited the previous post cause my keyboard screwed up and "someeoy yami comboe people called" doesn't really mean anything)
Guys please read the freaking OP!! Its only for Adv and Pre Adv member(experienced wbo tourney player)
Ahh ikmv Wink I see its like an immortal combol but I saw this guy using flame bull105WD against that combo, and I guess it out spun it =O. It leaves me wondering maybe destablizing types can beat that combo? So it got me anxious to battle you again xD.
you can KO a flame WD if you practice shooting MB in "attack mode" =)
I hope you mean MF.... cuase there's no way a a heavy defense tip can be 'attack' based on what I saw in tourneys. Mind making a short vid of MB for me?
It actually can work. Metal produces little to no traction meaning that it will move more easily than WB which can already move like an attacker when launched hard.
Why did you even share this=(? I wanted to face it myself and have you keep it as a secret combo. I already had an answer for itTired.
i was making a video of basalt bd mb last week defeating kinda everything to let the combo public knowledge, it's almost done but i'm at my girlfriend's now and can't publish it, will do it soon =)
Here are my winning combinations-
Deikailo's Beyblade Birthday Battle(Came in 2nd Place)- MF Earth Bull 100SD
Battle of the Boroughs 2(Came in 2nd Place)- MF-H Earth Bull 100SD
