Nice to see wave being used. Wave, like other things such as hold’ or rise is very underrated. Wave is tall which allows it to desabilize other beys, it has a wide surface area preventing a K.O. (For the most part) it also has good lad comparable to atomic and has overall good stamina.

Well, technically from what can see it’s being used as a tornado staller that relys on out-spinning by riding the tornado ridge of the stadium. It was likely used to tank attack while also out spinning things like dynamite f gear on drift

Cyclone actually is a decent attacker though. On Xtreme’ same spin it does pretty well from testing I have done.

That makes sense cause against attack types it would have the better stamina. But isn’t it a bit to round to be a attacker against things on Xtend+ or zone’ +z?
Convert wave is interesting to say the least. After a bit of testing, I can safely conclude that I'm surprised it managed to do well, given the prevalence of rage combos in the meta.

It can beat (MCC) Tempest Solomon Wheel Xtend+ (Stamina Mode) 1S, so I wouldn’t say so. It’s all about the oval like shape it has plus those gaps it has.

Being taller means you're the one who's more likely to be destabilized. It's LAD isn't terrible, but comparing to Atomic isn't very meaningful when Atomic hasn't been used for LAD in forever.

Atomic still has the greatest same spin LAD though for a driver. I don’t know if that’s what he was talking about or if he was talking about opposite spin LAD.

True. I’ve done testing with wave vs destroy and it’s usually ties, but if I said it’s lad is comparable to destroy people might have started an argument. In fact I did lord spriggan 0 rise (right) vs lord spriggan 0 wave (left) and wave won most of them. But when they don’t have the same layer wave isn’t as good for some reason. And being tall is unstable when the driver is to thin like the SPEEDSTORM drivers. But wave is thick and bulky so it’s height doesn’t make it unstable, and when it’s in the center it forces other beys on their axis and causes them to scrape. Of course wave scrapes as well, but not as much. Specific drivers work with certain bladers based on their skill set, launching, and overall favorite types of beys. Wave just works well for me similiar to how the rise driver works so well for the #1 burst Blader Kei.

The point about being taller makes you easier to destabilize is because it puts it’s biggest contact points and center of weight higher up, so it’s easier to get under the layer and destabilize it, and it’s much harder for it to recover.

Atomic still has the greatest same spin LAD though for a driver. I don’t know if that’s what he was talking about or if he was talking about opposite spin LAD.

LAD is strictly an opposite spin factor, and is essentially the raw ability to stay upright at the slowest speeds possible as efficiency as possible. LAD as we know it doesn't exist in SE spin short of raw stability.

Outspinning in same spin is usually a factor of being less likely to be destabilized, being more capable of destabilizing opponents, or simply having less friction with the ground than your opponent (assuming the rest of the beys are equivalent).

You must've missed that "assuming the rest is equivalent" thing. That takes care of that.

You know you're supposed to put any combo that won here, right? Like, I don't think you had to post it because it was unranked, but if you are anyways might as well do it right.

That means I should also have Dynamite+F Belial Giga Zone'+Z -10 and Dynamite+F Belial Giga Orbit -10 (which beat Vanish on Drift of all things), even if they're just variations of the same combo.

I told you over Discord DMs that anything that scored at any point at any time counted, just as Crab and Shindog have confirmed here. Take a look back if you want, but I'm pretty sure I said it at least thrice.

Usually things that only showed in deck format (and won of course) are denoted as such with a "(Deck Format Only)" tag. For my beys that would be anything but Vanish Bahamut, since I moved the core on Dynamite+F to allow me to try using a (losing) Cyclone combo with Belial.

Blew my chance to pass 1234beyblade for the #1 spot on the rankings with my 5-4 loss in the semi-final to OldSchool™. 😭We were both 6-1 at the end of the tournament, but I probably would have needed to be flawless and for him to lose two matches. Still, as always, Metal Fight Limited is a lot of fun to play!
