Kind of off-topic, but does anyone know the story behind the picture on the wall? Is someone there a WWII history buff?
It was a board game store. They had a variety of paintings on the walls, including this large one of a bombing run.

I completely disagree. They have deeper teeth which is better for attack. Personally I don't use any stamina chips. Lord has a bust stopper anyway so it doesn't make a huge difference.

This is news to me. Definitely going to test this.

In my experience deeper teeth work best on Defense/Stamina combos where the layer can deflect a lot of the force, so the combo requires as much force as possible to click even once. For Attack more teeth is usually better since ' drivers exist, hence why Judgement Ashura on Xtreme'/Quick' was constantly a thing, as the tighter spring increases the force it takes per tooth skipped.

So really, the chip types are sorta backwards if anything, with "Attack" chips being better suited for Defense/Stamina and vice-versa.

Makes sense. Although still doesn't really explain why Spriggan was swapped out for Longinus. Unless the burst stopper is totally worn on his Lord layer??? Extra insurance for Lord seems an unnecersary waste. ?‍♂️

Not really going to affect your combo's performance (or deck's performance) negatively unless you are using some other layer which works well with longinus compared to other left spin GT chips.
Spriggan should be saved for Attack combos, pairs really well with dash drivers, and actually is good on normal drivers as well. (But just use Diabolos if you can)

He hasn't used his spriggan chip anywhere that I can see. Only adding to my confusion.

The consistent usage of 5 Disk by was really what piqued my interest the most. It's either the match-ups were quite bad (like opponents being stock combo users) or that 5 really has some latent good use over the usual 00/0/10 that we see for Core Disk usage.

Even the 1st placer has a Judgment combo using 5 despite common claims that painted 0, Sting, and unpainted Blitz provide the best Burst resistance alongside using Gen Weight. Quite interested in how it fared since it was using Destroy', which doesn't really have a consistent attack pattern though I can see Burst risk was of course mitigated by the Driver. This is also assuming the Judgment Base was a fresh copy, and that the heavier side of Retsu is aligned with the rubber brake side of the Base.

Finally, the emergence of Prime Apocalypse (on Hybrid to boot) as well as Regalia Genesis are indeed refreshing amidst the toxic meta of the usual pP, Lord, etc. Regalia on Bearing was not what I'd expect since mine would spontaneously Burst upon launch on anything that has less spring strength than Xtend+. 7 still being awesome with a GT Layer is also quite thrilling and interesting along with usage of 5.

I find 5 to stick very well to Lord and Judgment. Its slightly below 0 but better than Blitz. I still prefer 0 since it is about 2 grams heavier anyway but its an option.

And its nice to see pP Atomic on the top. Its been a very popular combo where I'm from since it beats pP Xtend+ (along with virtually any other right spin combo in existence) and survives Zwei and Judgment better in my experience.

Granted, the format around my place is the more random deck format where your first bey would go against your opponent's first bey, 2nd vs 2nd, and so on. I suspect if the tournaments in my area follows WBO format then pP Xtend+ would be the better overall choice.

I don't see why you would want to use pP on Xtend+ anymore.

Because it's still very good against opposite spin opponents, and decent against same spin opponents. It doesn't have great KO defense, but it defeats other types.

Plus, it really can outlast most, if not all, meta combos even with the existence of Judgment, Zwei, and Lord

pP on Atomic is similarly not too KO resistant as its Xt+ counterpart, and hard launches with Atomic is almost a guaranteed self-KO upon a wrong launch angle, unlike on Xt+. Still, the choice is yours for your own preference.

As for Lord, it is like a dual spin Judgment/Zwei fusion, but its LAD is restricted on shorter Drivers (which also don't need Frames) due to its rubber contact points being the first to hit the stadium floor. pP offers some versatility especially against most Beys and a kind of winning flair that Lord cannot easily replicate.

But I may be speaking through the POV of a Blader who only participates in a 3-on-3 battle setup which is why I feel pP is one of the (if not the) best Beys to put in one's Deck. Weight-wise, pP can still last against most GT combos (it was like the Sr, where it still was quite a dominant piece pre-czS).

With the number of newer releases, I'd understand that you'd push for the newer Layer System parts, but some Beys are like Sr and you just have to update some of its parts for it to still be relevant and useful in the current Layer System.

Yeah I wouldn't use pP in my deck either. But I was looking at pP in a burst resistance light, as pP on Xtend+ does not fair too well against Judgement from my testing.

I see where you're getting at. The crucial thing with pP is to get the best: can easily detach mid-battle, not too loose that it detaches upon launch, and not too tight that it takes the Core Layer with it when "Bursting". It might just be that you need to change up your Dead Armor for a looser one or your Revive Core for a fresh copy if you see your Judgment creaming it every single time.

On my tests with pP.Outer.Xt+ and pP.00P.At, both are quite formidable and still win by Spin Finish despite me using JA.Bl.X' Retsu on them both, reason being that for pP Xt+ the Armor absorbed most of the beginning smashes of Judgment that it rendered it too weak late-battle (but it was close to more than have the clicks by then) while pP At had the Driver deflect the smash attacks with the Proof Frame making it more KO resistant early to mid-battle.

We're kinda getting off-topic now, I think, but I really do like pP's efficiency and versatility more than other Beys right now even if the fact remains that there may be other alternatives. Now if it gets a GT upgrade then we're gonna have fun lol
