so after a great deal of thinking ( great deal = 5 secs ) i decided to write this story and hopefully give some designs to help, its even starting to be a comic, so here goes...
" Yamashi! get up or you'll be late for school... again!" came his mothers nagging voice up the abandoned stairs. Yamshi grunted and rolled of his bed, unfortunately his bed was slightly higher than nromal ones, so when he landed the first thing that came to his mind was 'ouch'. he slowly dragged himself up and began to get changed into his bright blue blazer, grey trousers black top and black trainers. then he picked up a square silver box and tucked it snugly in his bag. then he picked up his pass and ran down the stairs leaping down 3 steps at a time until he tripped and fell down the rest, landing heavily face first. hastily he got back up again and ran out of the door, making care not to kick the cat on his way out.
"I know i have it somewhere, uuhhh...." yamtashi explained while rooting through his pockets in search of his bus pass, to no avail. he sighed. looked like he'd be walking again...
"uuhhhh... I will never walk again" Yamashi groaned, knowing full well this was a lie as he'd probably lose his pass again tommorow. his spiky hair was drenched with sweat. his clothes were creased and ruffled. although yamshi was quite tall and good looking he wasn't built for running from one city to another, even though he could probably do 3/4 of the way fine on a day where he wasn't already tired. at least he had made it in one piece, only just. he turned to walk over to a desk where two of his friends Jay and Umi playing yugioh, a game which involved strategic manouvers and knowing the rules and different types of cards. " I play this card!" Umi exclaimed.
"that's a spell card..." sighed Jay
"oh, right, then i play this card." Umi said,
"also a spell card..." Jay sighed again...
"Oh i give up you win..." Umi sighed... she wasn't very good at the actual game, but when it came to choosing good decks she was the bomb! but Jay was the best with high power monsters.. "hey guys!" Yamashi exclaimed, "my turn!"
Yamashi drew 6 cards and smiled. a perfect hand. "My turn!" Yamshi said, "I activate hope summon! this card means i splay out my deck so that you can't see the cards and you choose one. if it's a monster it is special summoned in attack mode and its attack becomes 0." Jay picked and Yamashi turned the card over. "unlucky, you picked rune magician! come forth rune magician! now I activate its effect to special summon one monster from my hand, i summon Giant rock!"
"really, a rock? are you messing with me?" Jay quizzed
"Yes, yes i am... anyway, I tune my level 4 rune magician with my level 4 giant rock to synchro summon ancient deity!then i activate its effect by removing all cards in my hand to let it attack that many times more timesed the amount of cards thrown! that means an extra 4 attacks with a loss of 2300 ! adding up to be a devastating blow of 11500 life points lost winning me the duel!
