Even though I am not in charge of this event, it probably should be noted that everyone who has an attack type stadium that can come to this tournament should try to bring it.

Honestly, the possible 70+ head count is scary.

Yeah, definitely. Having an excess of Stadiums would be much better than the alternative with how many people that could be showing up.
Well, I'm bringing 3 stadiums, that's for sure. Cye and Ship each have one and IKMV has about two so expect 6 coming from the US.

Thanks! Along with the people from Toronto who should be bringing their Stadiums, we should be good!
Been talking with people in regards to transportation to the event.

Looks like I've got some transportation to the event, and then someone who will pick me up later that night. Smile
I can't wait to see you guys.

(And is there a definitive time that it'll be starting on Saturday?)

Woo! Are you going to be at AN on Friday as well?

No, not yet ... still waiting on the schedule to be released. It should be basically the same as last year was, though (we had the room last year from 9am-4pm, I believe. Tournament started at 12pm).

almost completely definitively no for Friday (or Sunday)
I'm pretty much being dropped off on Saturday morning (Not sure of exact time, I'll try for around 8:30-9. Will adjust when schedule is out) and picked up that night.

Are you serious?
Wut!?

Like Deikailo said ... the time has yet to be determined, and as I said shortly before that in a different post, the time should be similar to what it was last year. Please read.

The AN schedule should be coming out soon, so we'll know the exact time then.
This is Scarily Massive. Livestream Possible?

Definitely. Grin
AN is a mere two weeks away, are you guys getting pumped?! Well, if you're not, you might now because I have a huge update!

First, Ron has confirmed with me that 50 people have signed up online! Thanks guys! If you haven't already, please do so here: http://www.formstack.com/forms/?1062968-hwu8IOQkLu

Second, the room and time has been confirmed!
  • BEYBLADE CRUSADE will be held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel in the Muskoka 3 Room (a room which is apparently two to three times as large as the room we have had in the past!).
  • We have the room from 9am until 6pm, and the tournament will begin at 12:30 PM. Registration will begin earlier. Please see the OP for more details.

If you look at the OP, you might notice one other thing! What's BEYBLADE CRUSADE: Wake Up Call? Well, let me tell you:

SHERATON TORONTO AIRPORT HOTEL - MUSKOKA 3 ROOM
10 AM - Registration for BEYBLADE CRUSADE: Wake Up Call
10:30 AM - BEYBLADE CRUSADE: Wake Up Call

STANDARD (MFB/BMF) FORMAT
SINGLE ELIMINATION - 16 Participant Limit

BEYBLADE CRUSADE: Wake Up Call is a mini-tournament that I'll be hosting prior to the main BEYBLADE CRUSADE tournament. The winner of this single elimination tournament, which will be limited to 16 participants, will win a WHF 09 Gold L Drago 105F and be the final person that gains the ability to choose who they face in the first round of the main tourament.

So, if think you can answer this wake up call ... please do your best to be there! And just to clarify, by no means in this tournament mandatory; it's simply something extra I'm doing for fun (and to encourage more people to come early haha). Smile

Also, I was able to secure a room to host a tournament on the Friday night at AN as well! Click here for more details on that tournament!
Im in!
I hope it isn't as crowded. Seriously I tripped a bunch of times last time. This is going to be fun.
I would be interested in the "wake up" call tournament, sign me up.
Also, how long do you think the line will take to get inside Anime North? As I don't like the idea of waiting out there for a couple of hours, unless there is a line only for Crusade?
Bonjour,
And about the CRUSADE.....
Huh What ...... For how much? When? Where? Are we allowed to use customized Beys?
Please Reply!

I'd probably be good to go for the wake up tournament.

I suppose you're joking. Just read the OP.

The room we've got is supposed to be two to three times as large as the one we have had in the past, so I'm hoping that we fill it relatively well, but that it isn't overcrowded haha.

Sorry, there is no "sign ups" for Wake Up Call! Whoever is there first on the morning of the tournament and signs up will be entered.
The actual line up to get a day/weekend pass for AN outside the TCC can take hours ... but if you're looking to simply purchase a pass to participate in BEYBLADE CRUSADE, you can just walk into the hotel, find the Muskoka 2 Room where the tournament is happening, and then purchase your pass from us there.
