DS is decent, but not like something such as RS, which wears down often. It's not worth top tier status either. Yes BD145 has multiple uses, but again in a tournament situation you can always just take out your BD145 from one combination to another.

Number:BB-99
System:Hybrid Wheel System
Type: Stamina

Note: Hell Kerbecs was released as a starter by TAKARA-TOMY with the Light Launcher 2, while the Sonokong starter was released with the Snipe Launcher.

Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is the second Beyblade in the Maximum Series. Hell Kerbecs BD145DS's "gimmick" is the "maximum diameter" of its Metal Wheel and Track.

Face: Kerbecs
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Cerberus, a former constellation in space. This face represents Kerberos, the protector to the gates of Hell.

Clear Wheel: Kerbecs
Weight: 3.3 grams
This Clear Wheel was released in a translucent yellow. Like its Metal Wheel, it is split into three parts, each separated by a notch. The pattern repeated around Kerbecs depicts interlocked chains. Kerbecs is one of the heaviest and well-balanced Clear Wheels available, and has great use in Defense and Stamina customizations. Being one of the few three-sided Clear Wheels, Kerbecs is especially useful for three-sided Metal Wheels like Hell or Ray to assist in balancing their weight distribution.

Use in Stamina Customizations
Kerbecs has great synergy with it's original Metal Wheel, Hell, and can be used in strong Stamina combos like Hell Kerbecs BD145WD (Boost Mode). The circular BD145–which matches up perfectly with Hell–completely neutralizes other Stamina customs, particularly those on lower Tracks such as 85, 90, or 100.

Metal Wheel: Hell
Weight: 39.6 grams
Hell was first released in a radiant gold colour, and being exclusive to the Maximum Series, it had the largest diameter of any Metal Wheel ever released. However, Big Bang has since been shown to have an equal diameter.

Hell is split into three different wings which are shaped to represent the Three-Headed Dog, Kerberos, and between each of them is a large gap allowing BD145's protrusions (while in Boost Mode) to point upwards past the bottom of the Metal Wheel. On the side of each wing are four indents which, in addition to the end of each wing which ends in a pointed "head" for Smash Attack, increase Hell's Attack capabilities. Due to its heavy weight, its relatively high recoil is lessened by a significant amount and because of this, as listed above, in combination with BD145 (Boost Mode) it can be used effectively in Stamina customs.

Use in Attack Customizations:
Hell's three wings and Smash Attack points provide consistent results against top-tier Defense customizations in the combo MF Hell Kerbecs BD145RF.

Track: Boost Disk 145
Weight: 8 grams
BD145 shares a similar trait with its partner Hell, in that, like Hell is one of the widest Metal Wheels ever released, BD145 is the widest Track ever. This Track is unique both because of its width and also its ability to change modes. Changing modes is similar to how it is done with SW145, however this time, instead of removing the changeable part from the bottom and flipping it, it is removed from the top and then flipped. BD145 has two modes:
  • Normal Mode
In Normal Mode the "Boost Disk" sits lower on the Track, which causes most Beyblades aside from those with tall Bottoms, to scrape the Beystadium floor easily. However, when used on a taller Bottom, such as RF, the three downward facing protrusions of BD145 have some Smash Attack.
  • Boost Mode
Boost Mode works exclusively in combination with Hell. The three upward facing protrusions on BD145 go past the bottom of the Metal Wheel into the gaps of Hell itself and unlike Normal Mode, there is absolutely no space between the Metal Wheel and Boost Disk. This mode has proven to be incredibly effective in Stamina, Defense, and even Attack customizations.

Use in Attack Customizations:
Somewhat surprisingly, BD145 found use in Attack customizations such as MF Lightning L-Drago BD145LRF. The increased diameter allowed by BD145 makes it easier to strike the opposing Beyblade, and the Smash Attack of the downward facing protrusions of BD145 complement Lightning L Drago's already high Smash Attack.

Use in Balance Customization:
Along with having great Stamina, the combo MF Hell Bull/Kerbecs BD145CS (Boost Mode) also has great Defense against Attackers which will be partially neutralized by both the wide, plastic "Boost Disk", and the rubber surrounding the sharp tip of CS.

Bottom: Defense Sharp
Weight: 0.73 grams
DS is essentially a hollowed out Defense bottom with a thinner Sharp tip placed in the middle, leaving a gap in between it and the outer "ring" that is created. There is no reason to use this Bottom over the multitude of other options available for both Stamina and Defense, such as RS, CS, WD, and SD.

Overall
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is a great Stamina customization out of the box. DS is negligible, but both Hell and BD145 make up for it by working very well in all types. Every Blader should at least one of this Beyblade.

Made a ton of edits to both the content and formatting. If someone could expand a bit on Hell's Attack capabilities in the Hell description/Use in Attack Customizations description, then I think this article will be close to being ready! I don't have experience with using Hell as an Attack Wheel, or DS, so hopefully their descriptions are accurate; if you find anything wrong please do correct me.

Does anyone know if the Blue Inferno Ver. of Hell Kerbecs is CoroCoro limited? Or am I mistaken?

And just a general note to everyone: when you're writing the "Use in ... Customizations" sections for a Beyblade, try your best to not simply list the custom. Elaborate on why it is good if you can; even a little bit helps.
I have been experimenting around with Hell as an attack wheel, and it is doing all around pretty well.
MF hell Kerbecs 100/CH120/BD145(Boost Mode) RF are all good smash attack combinations.
Hell Kerbecs Blue Inferno Ver. was a WBBA exclusive that you could sign up for, and while not guaranteed, there was a considerable chance of you receiving one in the mail. At the moment I do not know exactly how many were given.
Didn't the brochure for it say 3,000?
Could someone please add a small description to the Attack custom listed in the Hell section?

EDIT: Beaten but you should still add it.
Can anyone take good, Beywiki-quality images of Hell Kerbecs? This article is ready, but it would be nice to have some images to go along with it first.
"The notches on this track have been proven to give a strong smash attack, and along with Lightning, it makes a deadly combo. "
Really? Even against LTDC's BD145 remains rather flat and basically only aids with spin-equalizing and weight, of course. This is of course only what I experience.. :V
As for photos, can they be of a used Hell Kerbecs BD145DS? Because if so, I'll try and find the Kerbecs Face and photograph it.

I haven't done extensive testing myself to test if they actually do, I just sort of trusted everyone else who has read it thus far and agreed haha. I suppose they are too low?

Unless it's completely silver, then that's fine lol.
Yeah, I mean I use MF Lightning LDrago BD145RF daily since march and nowhere have I seen it do this, or at least prominently. Hell is pretty grey, the deep slopes are golden though. I can paint it over with a somewhat similar yellow? Haha. I'll look into the BD145 occurrence tomorrow, and do you mind visiting ShadowPegasis' Ray Unicorno thread?

Take one picture of it and I should be able to tell if it is worth taking more or not.
i dont think 1 of this bey is enough, i think it should be every blader should have atleast 2 of this bey
No, that makes no sense.
None of the parts wear like RF, so it will last quite a long time.

Now all we need is a gallery.
Shouldn't there be a "Use in Defense Customizations" section for BD145?

You're right. Go ahead and add one!
Read it over, and yeah, I agree with the whole 'pushing opponent with you' thing BD145 has going on. As for the 'rubber surrounding the sharp tip of CS.' lol.
I know I should be on the Ray Unicorno thread jabbing about this, but dangit, CS wears so horribly it should not even be called CS, its defense decreases exponentially because of that.

Done. Also, shouldn't there be a Use in Defense section for Kerbecs and a Use in Stamina section for Hell and BD145?
I think MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS/its variants are listed as Balance. If that is what you mean, defense wise for both of those parts together.
I feel loved Joyful_2

Lol, you don't need to ask me why, but yeah this thread went well although I didn't post I read it time to time.
I didn't even realized that it was posted haha. Cool Smile
Thanks for the help everyone!
