I think this would really help new players who decide to join up on this site who have perhaps only seen the anime, or have little knowledge of the game? It could include the basic understandings, links to the Wiki, abbreviations and what they stand for, popular parts etc.
It doesn't have to be completely in-depth as it is for, as I say, new players or players with little understanding of how things work. If they wish to read further, they can use the Wiki. Smile

I would be happy to help with bits of it, but you'd all do a much better job than I would.
I have been discussing this idea with others, and the consensus is that it will be done; when it will be done is another issue entirely. However, why don't we just place these articles on the Wiki anyway?
Ya, I second the idea. I fit that situation perfectly. Watched the anime and know little about the game. Also perhaps could I suggest including a buyers guide. As a result of not knowing anything I perhaps bought things that were unnecessary.

Putting little things like;
-difference between stadiums (hasbro / takara magnacore)
-sets which actually come with and without launchers (just bought some HMS blades and realised I have no launchers and ripcords)

Since I'm a noobie I can help with letting you guys know what noobies like me want to know.

We can always make the guide part of the wiki, but put a big link to it on the front page, like a sticky.
I was browsing the Wiki the other day and realized that we don't have a numerical Beyblade list for the HMS or Plastic gens.

I realize Plastic would be much harder to organize because there were so many blades, but I think lists of the blades would be a good idea to put into a newbie guide.

Won't the parts list work fine?

P.s. the parts list doesn't have Dranzer MF for some reason.
Well I suppose it might, but I know I didn't think to search Parts List when I was looking for a list of blades.

I don't think newer players will know to do this either. :\

Yes it does. I added it yesterday.

Isn't an alphabetical list way more useful?
Probably.
"Probably" as an answer is considered spam dude. Also this thread is from 2007!
