It was morning. a typical morning, except it was at least forty million years ago. the majestic age of savagery, where dinosaurs stalked each other in the dense jungles of every continent. but every continent was fused at the time, making it sickeningly hot, because all the sun was focused on the same spot. Surely, every animal needs a drink.... even lizards and insects! so where did they go? watering holes! Thirsty animals do not preform as well as hydrated ones do. Alan was one of those animals. With his pea sized brain instictively telling him to feed, he went off in search for food...sadly, dehydration has some... side affects. he began violently hallucinating, the world became colorful, his skin a great vibrant lime green, the mountains, a deep cobalt blue! his brain could not fathom what to do, he begand stumbling around. Then, he saw it. A huge, blue volcano. it looked as if it were about to blow.

"Oy, what ya doing mista volcano?" he growled.
Suddenly, there was a loud thunderous rumble, and in that rumble, he heard a friendly voice, calling his name...
"Hello tyrannosaurus Alan! I'm filling my water with vulcanicity!
Alan thought he was going utterly mad, all he could muster was a simple "wa?"
"Rain filters down through my handsome volcano rocks to create wild mineral water, that grabs life by the conkers, and makes you say... come on world, I'm going to eat you for breakfast!!!"
Alan froze up... the volcano had what he was looking for! it could help him get food, and water! he was utterly elated when he heard the volcano shout "TRY SOME!" and a strange container appeared in front of his mouth. instictively, he bit the end of it, and began to suck. it was filled with water! by george, the volcano was right!
He knew he felt hydrated, even if it wasn't real. he loved the joy of that water rushing down the back of his throat. he craved more. Suddenly, there was a huge boom, and when he looked up... the volcano had erupted with a huge gush of water. The thing he craved was about to destroy him. he ran, but fell to the ground quickly, black clouds filled the sky, as alan drifted off far before the end, only to escape the pain. His mind forever trapped in an encounter with the volcano he had "met" constantly looping and warping.

So, whenever you want to know where your water comes from... remember those old days, where it was even harder to get.

So, what did you guys think of it? I liked it, at least.
