Yeah! I sure hope so! I'd love to see something like that @_@ I mean you see all these small contraptions that have these awesome effects...now they need to bring it to the big screen!

That would be pretty cool to have! Though you might not be able to sit as far away from the system if you had those though and you wanted to use them.

maybe they will use a new kind of game disks,i mean not cds.

^ I'm pretty sure disc based media is on its way out, period.

I doubt the next generation will be download only, but maybe the generation after that.

The Gamecube and Wii didn't use CD/DVD.

well technically the gamecube's and wii's optical disks were based off of miniDVD and DVD, respectively

maybe u will be able to buy game cards and add them just like how u add ur live account!but a bit easier

Microsoft already sells pre-paid cards for Xbox Live Arcade games, so I can definitely see this happening, though I'm not sure it would be very practical. If your console is already connected to the internet and Live, why not just purchase the game straight from Live?

Well, I guess if you don't have a credit card then that might be useful, but otherwise it seems a little redundant.

I don't think we have the bandwidth to support downloading full games just yet.

This. I think disc media is going to go for a while for now. Especially with the release of blu-ray, which I hope next generation consoles use.

And if they all screw up and try to be gimmicky like the Wii is, we have PC gaming.

maybe u donot have to download it,like the card is somehow a memory card that u enter to ur console and save the game then u can play without it.and it would work only once.

and people should buy the cards cuz it comes with the booklets

a new ds, it wil be the nintendo dsphone
it will have a phone in it...and blutooth.....

You can change DS into phones.......dunno about Bluetooth though. Even if I had on eof them I'd probably still use a normal phone. It would look kinda weird talking to the DS. XD

I want a PSP and since my DS is on the verge of breaking I shall be getting a DSI, but I want to see Microsoft create an Xbox handheld it is possible.

well my Right shoulder button doesn't respond and I wish I could fix it. ok its not on the verge of breaking but I just can't play any games that require the use of the Shoulder buttons.

Ah, that's a shame. Mine seems to be in good working order even though I drop it constantly. I think I need to get a new case though......^^;

wow the same thing with me.i cant play shooters on my ds because of that.
but i have my sisters ds i always use it cuz she doesnt like it anymore
