Hey how long do I have to be on wbo for me to take the organizers quiz
I think you just have to have fifty posts, if I'm correct. (And be thirteen years of age.)

Whats progress on BeyPoint system?
Events are being processed at a slow-ish pace at the moment while we keep an eye on the behaviour of the system. But it's back in operation again (albeit a few hiccups) and we'll have more to say on it soon.
Wait, do I have to charge an entry fee in order to start a tournament?
(Aug. 05, 2017  3:04 AM)boigamer25 Wrote: [ -> ]Wait, do I have to charge an entry fee in order to start a tournament?

Yes, all participants need to pay for their entry, unless there is a very exceptional circumstance or if there are not enough people to hold a ranked format. This entry fee was introduced for various reasons:
- we are a non-profit organisation, but we have many costs to cover throughout the year and there is no reason all of it should be paid with money straight out of some of the staff members, who already dedicate way a lot of time on this website;
- we had many frauders at the beginning, submitting fake matches for the BeyPoint System just to get more points and reach a higher rank. An entry fee helps to dissuade people from cheating like that;
- it helps pay for prizes, which is a big incentive that sometimes stops the less hardcore fans from attending tournaments;
- as a non-profit organisation, all money collected goes back to the community in one way or another anyway.
Can we not view previous username changes or warning levels anymore?

group round robin or just regular roudn robin

Each play will play against all other players. Top 4 will proceed to final and play a single elimination finals (there will be semi finals and finals between 4 players. 2 players who lost in semi finals will do tiebreaker for 3rd place and winners will do for 1st place)-

In group round robin. Players will be divied in 2 groups and each group will do round robin against themselves. 2 players will proceed from each group to finals and then its same as RRB

we'll determine the final 4 through how many wins they have right? does it have its own scoring system or? (like for every win you get 2pts and for every lose you get 1pt)

The finals has a different scoring system, but you never get points for losing. In any case, have you tried reading our Organizer's Guide and Rulebooks?

by scoring system, i meant the points to determine who gets to be in the final 4. most of the round robin worksheet ive been gathering online requires that. like after the battle of best out of 5 you get another point that will determine your ranking in the round robin table.

and yes, i got to read both the guide and rulebook however im not really familiar with the round robin system. only eliminations.
Well our method is much simpler than what you seem to have found, and I do not know why any other system would exist: one BeyBattle (BeyBattles are composed of up to five non-draw rounds), one "point". Each person ends up with a very comprehensible win record that sets them apart very quickly, such as 5-4: five Beybattles won, four lost. Anybody who has a better record, e.g. 6-3, 7-2, 8-1 or 9-0, is above them.

Our whole result system is based on the data on the left being associated with a win, and the data on the right being a loss. In the results spreadsheet, you also write BeyBattle results as Winner-Loser.

oh okay. now i get it better. thank you!
How come when I look on my profile it says that I only have forty-eight posts, when I have more than sixty?

Some years back, we disabled posts made in certain forums from counting towards individual users' post counts, such as the Introduce Yourself! forum, because we noticed a tendency for the same users to make similarly insubstantial posts en masse across multiple threads in those forums with the obvious ulterior motive to inflate their post count.
Okay, I didn't know that. Thanks for answering my question,(and I promise I wasn't trying to get my posts up, with random welcomes.)
Why was Mentor/Advance Member group was removed? Any chance of it coming back?

I don't think it will come back as it was removed as it seemed to be exclusive to other bladers with good knowledge

You asked this question a few weeks ago. I gave a reply at the time:

As for whether it'll return; right now, we have no plans to do so, but that's not to say it never will, haha.
If we unlike some post (after liking by mistake) do user still gets notification?
I believe so, yes.
