Faces & credits will be awarded, rankings won't.

That sucks for me. I did pretty well during, A Year: The Month of Frozen Heads yesterday beating Pockyx3, LMAO, and Daegor42. It's sad that I wont be getting all those wonderful points. Oh whatever, It was worth going Smile
Don't worry, I'm sure that will change once everyone gets a feel for the new format. Right now, I think the committee is just a little cautious about it because it's hard to compare to Standard & Zero-G. Since there isn't an official top-tier list up yet, this way, there's less risk & more of an opportunity to test things out for fun Smile
I'm guessing this is the correct thread for me to post this question. I was curious if there are weight restrictions for your Beyblade in WBO tournaments, I've read all the rules and I'm still not sure about this. For example, if I combined Basalt Horogium and Diablo Nemesis to make a heavier Beyblade, would it be considered an illegal combo? I'm also curious if metal facebolts, metal spin tracks, and metal tips are allowed.
Mixing 4D wheels is illegal, so topping the bottom of Diablo with Basalt wouldn't be legal.

Metal face bolts can be used, as long as they're official Takara Tomy, Hasbro, or SonoKong parts. As far as metal spin tracks and tips, I'm pretty sure most are bootleg parts, with the exception of the Metal Ball tip, so they'd be illegal for tournament use.

Ah I didn't know you mixed 4D wheels weren't allowed, thanks though. This means I could still use Basalt or Diablo by themselves right?
Yes, absolutely, as long as you're playing Standard MFB or MFB: Zero-G, which are the two main formats (i.e. you are probably playing one of the two, and tournaments will be one of the two unless clearly marked otherwise in the thread).

Yes.
Just to clarify one more thing, I can combine different spin tracks, clear wheels, and tips into 4D beys, just can't combine metal wheels right? And I can use any spin tracks or tips compatible from other series MFB parts?

Yep and yep.
Ummmm, I just came on and my avi was gone? I had to get it back, has this happened to anyone before?

Look at your sig...

It probably broke the rules/mod did not like it, so they removed it. Tongue_out
You may want to remove it before you get warned. The moderator note said NOT to put it back up.
Oh sorry, stupid me didnt look at my sig Unhappy.

yeah, I did (take it down) as soon as I looked at my sig Smile
Hey yall im just wondering when can we do another photography contest

is anybody interested?
how do I get my warning level down
You can't really. Sometimes if you're a good member the mods will remove some of it, or so I've heard.
Sometimes, you got to stop doing SPAM and try post helpful stuff. It doesn't happen right away though.

I got mine reduced by 20% once. For being good.
Just listen to the mods advice and try to make your posts a little more meaningful I guess. If its just a simple question try PMing a mod or an advanced member online they'll usually get back to you ASAP. But try to post with more than one sentence comments. Also get familiar with the Beywiki that will answer many of the bey questions you have, and take some time and look around the WBO for other stuff including top tier parts and combos, tournaments, signatures etc...
what is spam?
Short/stupid, pointless, annoying messages. The first letter of each word.
What are ranks

Do you mean the BeyPoint System? If so, You get ranks by attending more tournaments And, participating in Official battles Smile
One for the committee: I just noticed that the looseness that MF-2 metal core parts develop over time - where the plastic can move a few mm down away from the cap, can be fixed by hammering the centre shaft back into the cap from the bottom (the metal pole in the middle of the plastic part - I used a screwdriver and hammer, though something flat-bottomed would be better than a screwdriver as screwdrivers risk damaging the plastic if they slip).
Basically, this fixes (likely temporarily) that looseness (which can cause tracks to sit unevenly, clear wheel rattling and loosening over the course of battle leading to possible disassembly, and in the case that led to me making this post, can jam up B: D's shaft while still leaving the clear wheel loose enough to rattle) without introducing substances or modifying the part (in my case bar a couple of small marks/dents where the screwdriver scratched the metal) - I assume it just puts it back into the original place (I noticed that my loose ones had the centre pole sitting out past the threads instead of down inside like my newer ones) but I've never taken one apart to know for sure. I would think it is legal but want to check before I render all but two of my MF-2's illegal.
So yeah is that legal or what?

Also is this a thing we knew about and I totally missed (if so, wow i'm dumb), or did somehow no one stumbled on this til I had one start acting up really bad while feeling particularly broke (in which case wow we're all dumb and i'm just dumb and cheap).
It has never happened to me yet, but generally the idea of encouraging people to use a hammer on their parts (even with a screwdriver : that puts all the force into a smaller spot, so the impact is stronger) is not really good, hah. I want to see whether that problem has happened to many other people too though.
